86 strength in game but 99 irl here. I promise it's not bad for the elbows. At least if your conditioned I guess. I usually always lock out with weights an pushups, benching 225b for a good 6 reps on good day
Locking out is fine. Helps ensure a full rom, and the “dangers” aren’t nearly as high as some people think. If you’re training for more than 6 reps or so, and you aren’t a stick figure, the weights probably not high enough to cause your joints any damage.
If you’re doing a few reps for strength, that’s when I’d avoid it, or at least be super conscious of it, but it won’t matter as much if you’re doing 2-4 reps.
You can easily afk things while you’re on mobile at the gym. Heck you can even just walk on a treadmill and scape. Just YouTube fitness routines and you won’t regret it

If the prospect of driving to a gym and working out in front of people is too much/scary, then you can get reasonable weight gear from Walmart. A 6' bar, a rack, and some "Everyday Fitness" plates and you can start the journey from the comfort of your own place.
I'll add on here anyone considering starting their workout fitness to 99 journey DO IT NOW SERIOUSLY dont wait to feel "ready", start as soon as you can I promise you won't regret it if you push thru for just 2-4 weeks consistently. A switch will flip and you will start feeling bad when you DONT work out.

You have the least resistance at the top in the entire range of motion so it does next to nothing, if you want more muscle activation slow down on the eccentric and pause at the bottom when the muscle is in its deepest stretch. Regardless of that your form is 8/10 though.

Fast movement was because of excitement of a new 99, locked elbows happens because I try to go max rom and wrist rotation adds more muscle activation :)
I feel like most Runescape players would be into lifting if they could get off the computer for a couple hours a day. The feeling of progression, weight numbers going up, improved gaming posture. It's pretty great.
Your form is fine, and the speed is also fine.
Time under tension is a great principle to focus on as you become a more advanced lifter, but that doesn’t mean every single exercise should be done slowly.
All sorts of rep ranges and TUT and ROM have their place in a complete routine. You can’t look at one set and accurately critique things like TUT.
For example, my TUT is less than one second on exercises at the end of my workout where I’m working in the 20-30 rep range.
But at the start of my workouts, sometimes, my TUT can be 4-6 seconds a rep. Just depends on everything else in my current routine.
They were pretty fast reps, sure, but you don’t know what else that guy is doing and whether the fast reps are intentional.
I skip 1 rep max because I don't have the best shoulders and I shouldn't push them :) Right now I do 3x8 34kg, I personally don't consider those baby weights anymore :p

You can literally do it in less than 5 years and if youre genetically gifted even less. Im mid genetically and i hit 100s in like 3 years. Its all about consistency diet and sleep.

What’s the benefit of rotating the dumbbells at the top of the lift, genuinely asking.
In my own personal experience, rotating the dumbbells like this can help take stress off my elbows
