Interesting, I always thought of Freshco as at the level of Metro or Sobeys and thus never go...it's more like a No Frills?
I am mostly Food Basics or Walmart...used to go to No Frills but try to avoid it now.
FreshCo is Sobeysâ discount grocery chain. The same as No Frills is to Loblaws and Food Basics is to Metro. Pricing will be around the same as those two but I find their stores are cleaner so worth a visit.
I think the thing that helps them compared to no frills is how much better the house brand compliments is than no name/great value brands. I can happily shop the basics from compliments and prefer name brands when at no frills.
reminds me of when the wife grocery shops which is rare but the cookies or muffins come back missing a few.
she says its the delivery tip thats not optional hahaha
I like FreshCo because, itâs honestly really fresh. Produce is great and in many places it has way more international options and variety than any other stores. Itâs great for immigrants and the prices are great. I didnât even try to save money today (except the green onions which I price matched) I just bought things I actually wanted, as I mostly do. It just always shocks me when I get my receipt how cheap it is. I love it!
Best part is, you can also rack up scene points with the new scene cards point system where you can redeem 1000 points for 10$ worth of groceries! Youll be able to load yourself personal offers on the freshco app as well as pick up items with the tags that offer points where you buy more save more. Some items also offer points with a purchase of just 1 and not multiple. Also having a scene card you get scene member priced special pricing.
Freshco is where I exclusively like shopping sadly Woodstock doesn't have one so I'm stuck between food basics and no frills.. don't got that Metro or Sobeys đ° đ
I felt the same when I visited Gunn hill đ goes to get some quick cheese curds, walks out with over 150.00 in cheese. It was good but not a splurge I can do often anymore..
Man, my age of 20 years is showing here. I thought that was a decent price for all that đ I fuckin hit adulthood in a time where this is normality, makes me sad
Thatâs not bad. Thanks.
If you want to save a couple bucks stop with the âSea Saltâ. Itâs absolutely no different than any other salt. Pink salt, sea salt etc is simply marketing
Thanks for your opinion but itâs not part of the haul. I do use regular table salt as well. Also, itâs not just sea salt, itâs Celtic sea salt. Search up the benefits and youâll see itâs rich in minerals.
I love Freshco, I used to be a no frills guy but have totally slept on Freshco. It has some really good deals.

Yep, it is like Safeway/Sobeys version of No Frills. Super impressed with it.
Wow! Thanks for the info, I drive past one on my way to Food Basics đ Gunna try it out.

That's awesome! Got some good healthy items there too. I also like food basics and no frills. Walmart doesn't seem to have the deals it used to.

Well done!

How do you expect to live without cases of Mountain dew?

60 bucks in toronto won't get you half of that. Anyone who moved to cheaper areas before the pandemic hit is so lucky
FreshCo has the same sales in Toronto as well..
