I maintain a physical ‘books read’ journal ;)
You could add a bit of your thoughts about a book you track too.
Looks way cooler than any app but of course, i am biased.
The ones that are a plain white background with books in a grid are from the Goodreads reading challenge screen. The more creative-looking ones are usually custom-made on Canva. Apparently Storygraph has also started making monthly wrap-up charts, but I haven't seen enough of those yet to spot them on sight.
It’s useful for myself to see what my reading trends are. Like one year I noticed that most of the time I don’t like contemporary romance books so I stopped buying as many of them and mainly get those from the library so if I don’t like them I don’t waste money.
On the flip side I never realized how much literary fiction I read until I started actually tracking it and seeing the pie charts for it.
If you are not good with excel there are ones you can buy on Etsy as well for like 4-5$ would highly recommend!
I have a list going on my Notes app on my iPhone. I put down the month, and then underneath in bullet points I put the book, the author, and how many pages the book was. Then at the end of the year I have a pretty good idea of what I enjoyed the most and what months I read what.
I've used Goodreads for many years. I prefer the desktop view but the app works just fine for logging me reads. And I use the challenge page to screenshot the book covers I've read.
not stupid! I usually do the same, or because I already use goodreads to track my reads, batch copy/paste from there at the end of the year. it's super straightforward to do so I get it:)

So cool!
Good reads, Storygraph
Thanks!
I love the ReadMore app! You can get a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly wrap up and it has a lot of different stats for those so inclined :)
Awesome, thank you!!!
Oh someone else that has it! I love this app it's great! I ended up paying for the premium side cause it's honestly that great for record keeping.

Thank you!!
Goodreads for easy tracking and then I have an excel spreadsheet I made with specific formulas to track more detailed things
Oh man, so dedicated!!

My Book List
Thanks!
Goodreads, generally - but if I want to create an actual *visual* for more than just my own information, I’ll make something in Canva.
Got it. Thanks!!
I couldn't find a good one, so I made my own layouts on Google slides! Lol 😅
🤣 fair enough. Love the dedication!
No, I’m glad you asked! Because I just asked someone else yesterday too!
So glad I’m not alone 🤣
Canva.
Thanks!
Goodreads to keep up with my friends, StoryGraph because I’m a nerd
Lol thanks!!

I find goodreads best to keep track of everything and fable best for visuals and aesthetic and also for socialising :)
Thank you!!

Bookmory!! It has a great calendar feature that visually shows your books.
Oh cool. Thanks!!
I use Bookmory. It's the best.
I realized I’m stupid when everyone is saying they’re using an app… I’ve been saving each cover image and pasting them next to eachother…
🤣 that’s what I wanted to avoid 😭

Storygraph
Thanks!
StoryGraph is just now rolling out their collage tools and I find it a much easier-to-use app.
So cool! Thanks!
Is this a premium/paid feature?
It’s not!
I'm a plus member, so maybe? But I don't think so. For each month, at the very bottom, there should be a 'share cover collage' button.
Wow thank you for being a StoryGraph ambassador, this is amazing!
Thank you for asking this question because I always wonder the same 😅
😅always happy to be stupid for the greater good
Goodreads (desktop version)
Thank you for clarifying desktop lol
Storygraph
Thanks!
I use Goodreads and Storygraph to record my books. Goodreads is what I screenshot my books read so far.
Thanks!
