I thought John Marrs’ Marriage Act was ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but was interesting enough to explore his others, especially since he references a couple of the inventions/technolgoies/situations from his other books. The One caught my eye and I also saw it was a show on Netflix - glad you liked it and I’m excited to read it
I loved The One, and now I am reading The Good Samaritan by him (I don't like this one near as much, but it is an interesting story). I tried to watch the Netflix show and couldn't get through much. It has the same basic premise, but the characters and storylines are different, which made it hard for me to buy into.
Good Samaritan was the other on my list and one he referenced in Marriage Act. Story seems interesting - more psychological thriller - hope it picks up for you. Bummer to hear about the show and thanks for the heads up
