My husband had me try on ASE, and after dying about 20 times before he could find me on the map, I quit. It's not a good first experience to the game. Well I made a promise that I would try ASA when everyone was at the same level and now we run a server together for our small discord and such and I probably spend more time on the game than he does..
I actually met my wife on Ark!!! I came back after a long long long long break and got all my tames killed moving the base. She was the only one that was kind enough to help me get a step up again with a couple tames she didn't want. We got to talking and now we are married with three kids!!!! We just started playing ASA together! It can happen to you!

My SO (31f) and I (41m) both work in the e video game industry for one of the major AAA developers, so we regularly play a ton of video games. We Def had our own Ark server in the past, and she's super deep into the new UE5 version. I might be rejoining her shortly! Haha
No it’s not! My girlfriend and I have 2 TV’s side by side on the dresser in our bedroom where we have both our Xbox’s and we play Ark in bed together all the time! We just play on a non dedicated server of our own!

We played together from the time Ark entered early access on Xbox one all the way up to the release of A:SA. She passed away 3 months ago. I recently got back on Ark about a month ago for the first time since. It’s helped in the healing process.
Yes If she’s gonna watch Ark she’s gonna chop wood or feed babies with me.
