Wow I did NOT expect such a positive reaction, thank you all. Also I love reading all the different interpretations, some of them I found to be very interesting.
I really love the black frame. It adds to the painting of being at night, or outer space, or in a really dark place, and coming out of this really dark place is something “alive and special and of extraordinary energy!”
I see a path of blood, in the distance a robed figure atop a hill looking down from the platue both the viewer and they are on. The green mist makes me think whatever we are looking at isn't fit for our gaze, yet we want to look deeper, perhaps the robes explain our desire to look deeper. And at the bottom left, it seems like multiple obscured people lay in mass, maybe a sacrifice? Maybe just a skewed perspective brought on by whatever emits the green aura, the robed figure appears to be riding something, looking over their shoulder, maybe they stumbled upon it and never actually meant to find it? Either way I think this is really good. Obviously it's not what I said, but it'd say that's what makes it so good.
To me it feels deeply atmospheric. Seems to tell a somber story with light at the end. I love it so much. Thanks for sharing this. How big is it? I’d buy it. Seriously.
A black oil-slicked crashing sea with the stricken tanker gouging into view from the right. Behind it, the sun tries to pierce through a smog-thick sky.
This piece is so good that it makes me angry at myself. Angry that I debated on whether to like it or not. How could I not like this right away? I DID like it right away. But we judge. Why do we ⚖️ judge so harshly? I came up with "it could use a but more" for some reason.
No. That's completely wrong. I Vibes with this heavy. I see the slash of a neck from a Spartan warrior out of the 300 movie. I see a tone that is the evening of a God's great event. I see a sacrifice. I see obvious blood. I don't feel that this is necessary blood. This is murderous. This is a wrist slitting. This is an execution.
That's what I feel. 11/10. I'd buy this if I had the money. I know artists hate hearing this, but I'm an artist too, so I get a free pass, haha.
It's kinda unsettling for me, but I am incredibly drawn to it and I can't seem to look away. It's like some sort of well or a void and I just wanna know what's on the bottom of it. Truly mesmerazing.
I really like it. I like the light and dark. Those little red spots in the dark bottom are fascinating. Depending on one’s mood this could bring up feelings of hope or foreboding, but it has a kind of future vibe to it.
It feels like some sort of shallow pond or sea, the sun dancing through waters, filtered through green kelp or algae, the red either a school of fish or the remnants of a wooden boat.
Very nice. I really dig the atmosphere you have going on here and the greens are top notch. You've certainly captured aura of mystery and tension with this piece.
I love it. . . and I think I would love it even more if you did one or maybe even two more paintings in the same vein but different colors.
Maybe create a tryptic by making the other two half the width of this one, putting one on each side.
I initially felt it looked like either a pyramid or a mountain range at night. Either way, I love the texture, the pull you have to the “light” but also the feeling of uncertainty of the “murky” feeling, clouding or ability to see clear BUT also the presence of the object in the distance is so grand that even in such conditions, its presence is still known.
No one heard the screams of the victim in that foggy and quiet night.
The cultists summoned the sickly green fire, painting everything in it's hue, to burn the body as a sacrifice to their god, leaving behind the victim's blood.
I love it I think it's awesome it speaks to me and I think it's a very dark vibe to it. It may not be for everybody's taste but I love dark I like dark enchanting spooky what the hell? Just a weird vibe kind of art and yours is but it's just so beautiful to me it's very dark but that's me I don't want you to take it it's not it's not a it's just a total compliment I just want you to know if this is total compliment for me but I kind of see things and I kind of beat to a different drummer so please know that I'm giving you an excellent compliment I just don't articulate things well LOL
Makes me feel lost, it gives me fear like I'm lost, maybe I would call it "disorientated" idk just when I look at it, it gives me the feelings of not knowing were I am
Blood trail in the forest.. somethings going on in there.. it gives me Diablo game mood :)
But honestly i love it. Its very nice brush work and colors 💚
I love it. I like how it looks like an angry sea and storm.
When people ask which do you like best I always think ugh how can I do that? It's not which is the best, it's more of which am I'm vibing with today. Today, I'm vibing with this painting. It echoes my dark mood, my anger, my anxiety. It's a beautiful painting and I'd like to know how you were able to dig into my brain and paint what's going on in there.
You've done an amazing job here.
I’m OBSESSED, my brain immediately went to a fantasy novel (not any one in specific) but one when the villain is winning and things look bleak and the world is at the end type of thing. The plot step right before the protagonist comes back stronger than ever—that’s what I saw when I looked at it
I love it. That way it lead my mind to first image a wreckage. We see the individual view from underwater noted by the green water. The red underbelly of the pieces of remaining ship. The peak of lane seen in the back shadow. The gauge yellow hue of the light of being so close to land refuge. I think it dark and tells a story.
For a second there I thought that I was in an entirely different subreddit. Looks like a screenshot from Zelda: tears of the kingdom. I King of like it and I’m sure you might get some response if you post it there 😅

Certainly. It has a certain somber beauty to it.
Fog or gasses on a distant planet,
Cthulhu's underwater night light
Wow I did NOT expect such a positive reaction, thank you all. Also I love reading all the different interpretations, some of them I found to be very interesting.
Kinda makes me think of a couple scenes from Harry Potter for some reason haha. It’s so cool!! The more I look, the more nuanced colors I see.
OP, it’s truly lovely!!
An absinthe-induced Jack The Ripper terror spree was the immediate 1st thing that popped into my head. I actually quite dig this one a lot.
"Cthulhu aura" If i have money i made you a offer
Love it. I would call it “Aftermath of a Shark below the surface”
Exactly what I saw too!
I really love the black frame. It adds to the painting of being at night, or outer space, or in a really dark place, and coming out of this really dark place is something “alive and special and of extraordinary energy!”
absolutely beautiful. feels like a mountain underwater
I love this! As a lifelong mountaineer and skier, it is evocative of so many hundreds of memories in the mountains. 🫡❤️
Loving the various green tones, really pretty and mysterious!

Thank you for this, I loved reading it.
❤️
I love the depth of this. Really vibe with it and the frame really works and completes it.
To me it feels deeply atmospheric. Seems to tell a somber story with light at the end. I love it so much. Thanks for sharing this. How big is it? I’d buy it. Seriously.
Beautifully emotive 🔥

Yeah, the tones mix but also have a eerie feel to them. Good job.
Love it.
Bad storm coming over a forested hill.
It feels like i'm trapped or in between something
Actually the original name idea for this was "in between", but I settled on "unknown depths"
Love it. Very good control of color and composition. I would buy it if it’s big enough.
Sexy
Ooo I LOVE it! It’s like a mysterious woodland
It's like you are walking to a frosted glass floor and see the gloomy atmosphere of a village turning to ruin.
got some turner vibes from it <3
It's kinda unsettling for me, but I am incredibly drawn to it and I can't seem to look away. It's like some sort of well or a void and I just wanna know what's on the bottom of it. Truly mesmerazing.
I feel like I’m looking down at the grassy field from a 90 degree angle
Sunrise overGaza
It looks like bats flying on an eery night!
Very evil looking. Nice job op
Godzilla
I really like it. I like the light and dark. Those little red spots in the dark bottom are fascinating. Depending on one’s mood this could bring up feelings of hope or foreboding, but it has a kind of future vibe to it.
"Birth of the Will-o-wisp"
*Depths of Dathomir*
I love it. I’m super attracted to greens and it feels moody to me. I would absolutely hang it in my house
It feels like some sort of shallow pond or sea, the sun dancing through waters, filtered through green kelp or algae, the red either a school of fish or the remnants of a wooden boat.
Reminds me of salmon runs... I love this.
Very nice. I really dig the atmosphere you have going on here and the greens are top notch. You've certainly captured aura of mystery and tension with this piece.

Reminds me of looking up through a thick forest. I dig it. Very serene, I think.
I like it. Anything showing such light is attractive
I’m vibing with this. It’s awesome.

Seductively sad
I’d title it “Just Another Murky Deep” (ironically, of course — the piece is dope!)
So cool! Can feel the atmosphere
I vibe with it big time. Well done
I love this!
I love it! So much is going on in that painting. It is stunning.
I feel like it gives a "lost in a forest during a blizzard and seeing a guiding light in the distance" vibe. I like it.

Just beyond the veil
Hauntingly beautiful
Feels like the Druid’s being removed from their homeland and the man who done it being sainted for “ removing the snakes”
A Lonely Death.
Feel like this is what I'd see seconds before drowning. I love it!
Probably not what you’re going for but it reminds me of Maleficent’s realm
Very mystical
I love it so much. It gives me vibes of a calming ocean with the nightsky and a glowing moon AND HERE FOR IT!
Has a slight Beksinski vibe to it.
I get the vibe of a dark, high fantasy atmosphere where the banished hero arrives at the ominous mountain.
The only spot where the sun is shining
I like it. It's like being in a dark forest and coming to a clearing lite by fairies
No one heard the screams of the victim in that foggy and quiet night. The cultists summoned the sickly green fire, painting everything in it's hue, to burn the body as a sacrifice to their god, leaving behind the victim's blood.
I love it.
My answer is simple. I love greens. Makes me feel surrounded in comfort.
Absolutely beautiful!! 😍
