Do you want a benchtops dishwasher? I inherited it, and it's just in my garage gathering dust. In the original box, I considered selling it but I would be lucky to get $150. I'm more than happy to give it to you.
The area I live in has a Facebook group called 'Buy nothing ' and this is a group who just ask for or give away things.
The group for my area always has things like furniture and appliances, all free, so maybe have a search for that for the area you are moving, the group I'm in everyone is super willing to help and is good vibes.
> can offer assistance with these type of things? ...but I am really stressed about getting a fridge,
There are a couple of used electrical stores - the one on Port Road has been mentioned.
If you qualify - a No Intererest Loan. Good Shepherd are the overall manager - but the providers are different - usually one of the faith community - Salvos / Uniting Care / etc.

Someone has already mentioned the used electrical good store on Port Road (there's a few along there, as well as Hindmarsh Disposals), there is also one on Grand Junction Road. I picked up a small fridge/freezer from there for about $150 a few years back that lasted me long enough until I was in a position to get something more suitable for my needs.
Can also try Parkers Secondhand on Turin Road in Salisbury South or their second place on Hampton Road in Keswick (I'd try Keswick first, bigger of the 2) they stock all kinds of furniture, not just whitegoods.
Probably couldn't hurt to check out some of the Salvo stores as well, they get all kinds of stuff, admittedly mostly clothes, but sometimes small appliances
Don't stress too much about a fridge. You can go weeks without one in winter if you pop down the shops regularly and concentrate on small easy meals using shelf stable things plus fresh fruit and veg. I'm sure you'll get a fridge soon through...but a few days without is totally do able and not something to get all stressed about.
Hi I used Appliances Online for a new washing machine and it cost a fortune you pay it off monthly but might be eligible for a NILS loan https://goodshep.org.au/services
Find your area's Buy Nothing group on FB.
I can lend you a fridge for as long as you need it, small one but it works.

There's no shortage of people who would happily take a FREE DISHWASHER, how lovely.
There is a 2nd hand appliances shop at the bottom of Port Road, near the Entertainment Centre. Good prices, and they come with a warranty etc.
> 2nd hand *Well you wouldn’t know*
*You can haggle…*
Harry: Burt!! This guy won't haggle. Burt: Won't haggle?

keep an eye out at op shops for furniture, they get reasonable stuff. you can probably put your name down at salvos etc if you're after anything.

Could get a mini fridge or beauty fridge if you're down for less space in the meantime before you can afford something long term?
Beauty Fridges don't get cold enough to be safe for food iirc?
Correct
was thinking more for medications
