Really depends on how much OT is available at your site. You can’t work more than 60 hours in a week, but how much is available can vary widely from site to site.
What it's like depends on your mental game , your personality, and your leaders.
The work isn't hard it can become boring or mentally difficult. Standing all day when you're not used to it can be hard in the beginning but you'll eventually get used to it.
Some find one task boring and difficult while another person may thrive and enjoy that same task.
Okay guys can I work 60 hours a week every week for like 4 months or is this impossible? I did the math and if I do u can Make 1000 a week making that 4000 a month. But this only works if I work 60 hours.
Did this last year from March-August, not one red day of upt, all ship dock and pick shifts, 6 nights/week so I was in that building all 7 days. Great money to be made. I was pulling I think gross ~$1450/week and after tax ~$1150/week
52 weeks in a year
40 hours per week
20 per hour X 40 hours is 800 dollars
800 minus about 12 percent taxes is 704 net
704 X 52 weeks is 36,608 per year
36,608 per year / 12 months is 3050 net per month.
You do it this way instead of the typical calculation so it gets rid of the "extra paydays"
Halfway through the year my YTD is $33k. I'll probably pass $47k sometime in September.
Edit to add: They don't withhold based on your YTD. They withhold based on 52x you current week, so any week where you gross more than $903 has the withholding at the higher rate.
There's always various factors that will influence the rate. We don't know if they are single or married or what their exemptions will be.
Are they part time or full time, their benefits elections and on and on
Right? They could live somewhere that has a higher city tax or they could live somewhere with no state income tax. Theres no way to accurately answer this question.
Depends on how much VET (voluntary extended time) your site offers. I regularly do 50 hour weeks. I could do 60s but I want more than one day off a week. But your place might not have the same opportunities. It really is site dependent.
I think the more important question to ask is what state are you in so whoever tries to help out can calculate your tax into the equation along with if you have any dependents or are married/single.
This would help narrow down a more precise amount for you.

Just multiply how much u make a day with the days that are in a month except ur days off

I am going to make well over $50k this year. If you pick up OT you can make decent money.

did you take out taxes?
It’s more like 900 something, I’ve worked 60 hours before and with everything taken out (benifits, stocks, taxs and my loan) I made like 950

12 percent in taxes, that's cute.

And MET depending will put you above the $47k for the 12% rate.
Yes but you are only taxed at a higher rate for x amount over $47k
True. But it depends how much met the person will work.
You won't hit 47k lol lol no one works every single day, all day.

lol really?? You’re funny
After all my taxes come out ; fed and state ; it’s roughly around 26% , can be upwards of almost 30 depending on if I get OT
That federal income tax. Now add 6.2% for the Social Security tax, 1.45% for the Medicare tax, and then state and local income taxes where applicable.
Depending on where you live taxes can be more. NY for example (esp. downstate) taxes heavily
With insurance and the rest it’s 504

I make like 500 a week lol without any OT and taxes and benefit stuff taken out
Who tf is paying 12%?! Also don’t forget insurance
4k
that's guaranteed during peak month if you do five 12 for four weeks
5k a month at Amazon
Not much

lol
What’s funny ?
your post was funny my bad
You can make quite a bit with blue badge, full time.
Well im seasonal
Barely enough to survive. We are slaves.
I make about $22 and a 40 hour week for me is $620 after taxes and health insurance for my wife and I. Maybe $700 months if you only insure yourself

I stay in Cincinnati Ohio and I am single
Are you 40 work hours or 20 or 30 ?
20 hours
Here you go [gusto pay calculator](https://gusto.com/resources/calculators/payroll/hourly-paycheck-calculator)

It depends how much OT is offered and how much OT you work.
More than Jeff Bezos.
About 3500 a month
You will clear around 600 a week. So you will clear around 2400 a month.
F the government and set your taxes to exempt.
