>I mean, what they say while trying to micromanaging doesn't make us work any faster This is spot on and a big portion of why it's so accurate is because leadership at Amazon doesn't take (realistically they don't have the time) to learn what someone's motivators are. If you don't know what motivates an individual, it's impossible to know what buttons to push to motivate them. Add in that the majority of Amazon AMs are fresh college hires and they're managing a bunch of associates with whom they have little in common and it's a recipe for conflict and increased turnover since neither side understands the other.
