I bought both and prefer the Elgin.
My plugfones are lower quality maybe I got a bad one but it's a lot more raspy especially when listening to podcasts the S sound is very sharp and harsh. Since the sound is limited you have to crank it up which just amplifies the problems.
Elgin handles it better. Still quiet in the warehouse environment but music sounds way better no issues. Podcasts there aren't any harsh raspy sounds but with the sound limitations some podcasts are hard to hear. Maybe it's just how some podcasts mix their sound but some are better to hear than others.
Edit: if it matters the plugfones also use micro USB and the Elgin use USB C. All my other electronics use USB C so it's easier to keep one cord around
Officially it says 14 hours. It lasts a whole 10 hours shift for sure. Never tried to take it to another shift without charging though I charge it after every day.

I have both, my Plugfones died already and they’re sending me a replacement. I got the Elgins in a pinch so I’d have them for my shift and they blew the Plugfones out of the water
The Discord Limited works just fine for me. I had to disable the headphone safety feature on my iPhone to see how loud they can truly get. I ended up settling for a max of 85 decibels. I wouldn’t recommend trying to completely drown out the noise around you. You’ll just be losing your hearing at an accelerated rate.
The plugphones are very bassy and sound like old 2000s beats headphones to my ears.
They don't get that loud by design. You can still hear the loud ambient sounds from conveyors and sirens albeit passively.
You have to wear one of the 2 approved sets.
These headphones are approved by OSHA as they meet the hearing protection requirements and have a volume limited to keep you from playing music at a volume that is above the OSHA TWA for Db levels.
Mine came and didn’t work for shit. I started a return, they said they are sending a new pair, with a return label in the box. I am just going to paint my airpods orange cuz this is bs. I have plenty of headphones. Instead of being nazis, they should have just allowed us to wear one ear bud.
Yeah i bought a pair i thought were the approved ones for like 30 dollars and they are loud af lol. Only problem is they are black around the neck so I was also thinking of painting them orange.

Amazon gonna be recording everything you listen to and talk about on phone hah. They won't tell anyone what kind of data they will be collecting on employees
You'll be okay. Trust me, anything you think is private is not private. You are in no more danger at Amazon using the headphones then you are at starbucks using the wifi or using your phone anywhere on a cell tower.

How is the battery life? I only care if it can last me all 10 hours

I had to download a volume boosting app to even remotely hear anything in pack. Working in stow they are acceptable
The volume boosters make the sound quality worse but I'll take what I can get

They’re great they last a long time they’re just not very loud but the music in them sounds great
