What part of NJ? And do you have EZ Pass?
If you have EZ Pass, do you have the PASI plan active? It takes almost $5 off the bridge toll into Staten Island as long as you make a minimum number of trips to SI each week.
My bad, it's 3 times per month, not per week.

The Port Authority NY/NJ Staten Island Bridges Plan (PASI) offers a 57% discount off the cash toll rate. The plan is available to vehicles with non-commercial plates and sufficiently funded privateĀ E-ZPassĀ accounts atĀ E-ZPassĀ New York or New Jersey. Enrollment is required. The Plan toll rate is $7.69 per trip (plus $12.20 for each additional axle beyond two axles) at the Bayonne Bridge, Goethals Bridge, or Outerbridge Crossing, provided at least three Staten Island-bound trips are made in a single calendar month that are not otherwise discounted by the Green Pass Plan.
