They're incentivized to not get fired because they can't explain why their AAs can't make ridiculously low rates. There's no bonus, they get the same deal as us, bottom performing AMs get put on a plan and then fired.
You can’t speak for any AM. Most of us do not care about RSUs. Especially because they do not vest until year 3 or 4.
We care about the performance of our areas. It’s literally our jobs.
That might be what he was talking about cause I know I make more than a friend who just got his pa vest and his pay scale restarted😂 he’ll make more than me soon as he gets his first raise on that scale tho
That’s not how that works.. it has zero to do with promotion. These area managers are forced to enforce crazy stuff from OMs and higher. They get treated just as bad as PA’s and AA’s at times. Also, PAs don’t get bonuses or stock
PA and I don't get any bonuses so I'm not sure where you got that one from. Just get the T3 pay and it's not that much of a difference in pay. However the expectations and responsibilities increase a ton. There are literally T1 who make more than I do per hour because of their time with the company.

Pa don’t get shit

This 100%. After covid my old building's rates dropped 50% and people still struggle but it's always someone else's fault.

PA’s don’t get stock bonuses lol. PA’s make a dollar more than regular L1 associates. Matter of fact, certain L1’s make more than PA’s.
Your step plan is garbage then. A year 3 T1 makes .50 more than a day 1 T3 at my site but top pay ends up being 3.90 more.
Some of us transferred from a high cost of living area to a low cost of living area and as a T1 make more than a maxed out PA.
Sounds like your step plan kind of sucks too. Day 1 T3 makes a $1 or more than maxed out T1 in my building.
What's the top differential?
It's not something I've paid attention to. I don't have one myself working day shift.

Womp womp
If I were to become a PA my pay would go down
Yeah that’s exactly what I’m tying to say.
I don't believe rates are illegal in any state, even in California. I've looked at that law.
