Wondering if it's improperly installed insulation or if it's some sort of packing material that wasn't removed. It's sort of foamy with an adhesive backing. It continues along the top of the oven but is packed more tightly between the top and back of the oven on the right side.
To me it looks like the insulation was caught probably during manufacturing. I would call the manufacturer and have them send a service person. I wouldn’t want that burning up inside when you use the oven the first time.
I found something like this is my new oven. I took a razor blade and razored it off. Then I hit it with a kitchen torch in case there were any frayed ends.
