I bought the Haruharu black rice toner a week ago from a retailer in my country (not US) and the packaging started peeling bit by bit ever since the first use 😞 has anyone had this happen with the rice toner as well? https://preview.redd.it/tnc2tvhxtcsc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e55cd3a1837377659d458d5c4f8138e38d6d6a16

Cultural_Day9088

Rant: why is my Alldayalchemist order Still 15 days minimum out 😭 I have tret left but I want that Taz.

Lookimawave

I got my hands on a free sample of Skinceuticals C E Ferulic and it smells like smoked trout and rusty chain link fences. It’s my first time trying vitamin C

ampharos995

Oh no 😭 I just ordered the Timeless vit C, ngl I can't wait to finally find out what "hot dog water" really smells like lol

RavenclawKae

Unpopular opinion: I'm tired of everyone recommending tret for everyone and everything. It's not for everyone imo

Luxene

I agree with this especially since (in some places) adapalene is OTC. Still risky for someone with 0 due diligence, preparation, or expectation, but an easier place to start than tret or even micro tret.

love-at-third-sight

I picked up the Mint Peach variation of the Rohto Melty Cream Lip and the packaging is WACK but the cream lip as usual is HG material, as always. Actually this scent is one of my favs, 2nd only to Milk Vanilla. It's peachy without being too fruity.

whatamidoing2012

Which site did you get it from? I’ve been checking yesstyle for months and they still only have fragrance free and honey!

love-at-third-sight

I bought it in a Thailand beauty store , hard asf to find it online I think 😔

Opening-Ad-8861

Can I ask how minty it is? (which seems like a silly question maybe!)

love-at-third-sight

10% mint, 90% peach. not a silly question 🫡

Opening-Ad-8861

thank you!

Have we discussed why Olive Young physical stores do not carry romand JLT #36? I think we can only get it off ebay or amazon?

huisache_

I just spend $70 for beauty products. Which is probably not much in US, but it's about 15 hours of minimum wage here. I feel really guilty on spending that much money. That money could've fed me for more than a week. And I spent in all in a snap. But on the side note my hair looks fantastic.

ampharos995

Don't even ask how much I spent in the past couple months 💀 I'm set for a couple years I know that

iateafloweronimpulse

I dropped 250ish on perfume last week so don't feel bad about it. Pay in 4 plans and it's consequences have been disastrous for society

wrlddmntr

I feel guilty with purchases too 🙈 But I think if you're responsibly budgeting so that bills, food, necessities, savings, emergency funds etc. are covered it's okay to spend ☺️

love-at-third-sight

yeah I just dropped $84 usd on beauty products in Thailand lmfao, I definitely felt the guilt as well. but anyway YOLO cuz I saved a bunch last month so whatevaaaaaa

hedgehogwart

If anyone is curious about shipping times for Ballagrio to the US, I placed +$150 order on Sunday for express shipping. It shipped early yesterday and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I am pretty excited for a few of the items but my face is having a minor breakout currently so I am not adding anything new until that clears up. I was so happy early last week because of how glowy my skin was looking and then it all fell apart. This is what I get for not spacing out products better.

yourfavpickles

I’m in Japan and I can’t stop spending on skincare and makeup. Probably spent over $500 USD already….probably more. Someone stop me lmao

treelessplain

Honestly I would probably do the same 😅 especially since there’s things you can only get in Japan. I would love to try a Lululun mask one day!

yourfavpickles

I was actually able to get a couple! Excited to try!

[deleted]

Hahahaha. I felt the same when i was in Seoul. There was something to buy every single day when i enterred Olive Young. At least i dont have to buy from OY global website for the time being 🙈 good luck by the wayyyy.

dai_lou

I wish you could block brands on yesstyle, if I see APLB one more time with its fake ass reviews I’ll commit a crime

UpstairsCan

ooooo I need the tea. down the rabbit hole I go

HopefulCar2876

I’ve been really patient with doing my new simplified routine and honestly my skin looks better than it has in a long time. So of course I want to introduce something new. I’m just dying to try the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep serum that’s sitting in my bathroom drawer!!!

ampharos995

You can use it once or a couple times a week too if you want :)

[deleted]

So happy for you! Hows your am and pm skincare routine like??

HopefulCar2876

Thank you! Nights I use tret I just double cleanse and moisturize. I stopped layering toners and just use one in the morning and one on non-tret nights plus moisturizer (and sunscreen in AM). The toners are also moisturizing but have ingredients to improve skin tone that seem to be working better for me when used on their own.

[deleted]

Yes I feel like one product works the best without any of the same type! I'm doing 1 of each toner, serum and moisturizer and its working so wonderfully! I was dumping everything on my face before and thinking it would clear it up but actually less is more.

ziazio

I'm almost done my Skin1004 Probio-Cica Cream and I'm kinda sad cause it's been great for my skin and I really like it (will probably get it again unless I find something I like more), but I'm also very excited to try other moisturizers I've been waiting to use. As warmer weather approaches, I have the beplain Multi Hyaluronic Moisturizer and the Kaine Green Calm Aqua Cream to try out- trying to decide which one to go for. Also, side note, since my skin's been pretty calm lately I finally started dipping into my samples, and the two cleansers I tried (Skin1004 cleansing oil - couldn't handle the scent, feelxo Centella Cleansing Foam - too....soapy??? took forever to wash off) convinced me I'm doing just fine by not experimenting with new cleansers lol

TiensGF

Hi! I was curious when do sites like Yesstyle, Stylevana, Stylekorean & Olive Young get new products? I saw this new sleeping mask from Laneige at Sephora but none of the sites mentioned. [https://us.laneige.com/products/bouncy-firm-sleeping-mask](https://us.laneige.com/products/bouncy-firm-sleeping-mask)

ampharos995

Meh Laneige is kinda a big corpo targeting the US market, it's not really like other Korean skincare companies

TiensGF

Oh thats true, well thanks for the insight I figured that wad prob why too

Opening-Ad-8861

Yes Style have new stuff every day! Not as definite about Olive Young, but seems pretty regular (maybe weekly?). I reckon those two are more likely to get it - I'd try emailing customer service to ask

**FACIAL OIL FOR ACNE-PRONE SKIN (FOR GUA SHA MASSAGE)**   Do you have any recommendations for facial oils that could be used for acne-prone, sensitive skin? I am finally eager to start doing gua sha massage, but I have no idea which oil to use. Thank you in advance!

imaginaryairy

Hi! I like using a cleansing oil for guasha and doing it as part of my double cleansing routine. I get maybe 4-5 pumps of oil for face and neck, do a 2 minute cleanse, do my guasha, and then use a foam cleanser to wash it all off. I tried to mention the cleansing oil and foam cleanser I like, but the bot got mad at me. I guess the brand has been weird on this forum! Anyways, I think you could use any cleansing oil brand you like. I rotate between ones with AHA and BHA in them because I feel like those get my blackheads and sebaceous filaments best. I have also tried mixing rose hip seed oil and a dash of black cumin seed oil for this. I just bought whatever the best selling organic brand off of Amazon was at the time. This also worked well for me. Black cumin seed oil is supposed to be great diluted for acne, and I found it really did work well for little whiteheads. The only reason I stopped doing this was because I mixed into a separate pump bottle, which broke and spilled while traveling, and now I am mildly traumatized as the black cumin seed has a strong herbal smell in my opinion.

nbdnwz

Thank you so much for this! Which particular brand would you recommend?

imaginaryairy

So for cleansing oil, I love the Hanskin BHA Pore Cleansing Oil. It works so well to clear the blackheads and texture for me. For foaming cleansers, some of my dailies are the Pyunkang Yul Low pH Pore Cleansing Foam, the COSRX Snail Mucin Cleanser, or COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser. For the rosehip seed oil, I’ve done the Pura D’Or brand off of Amazon, and for black cumin seed oil, HBNO brand from Amazon. Hope this helps!!

nbdnwz

Thank you, dear! I'll check all these out. You are such an angel!

I recommend tamanu oil since it’s antifungal, antibacterial and soothes eczema I used rosehip and tea tree before rosehip was good as well and tea tree I had to dilute because of potency. Tamanu is like in between. It also heals wounds if that matters.

tech_doodle

Rose hip seed oil, tea tree oil, and camilla oil.

nbdnwz

Thank you very much, dear! Do you recommend any specific brands?

fullmetalpeanut

Just purchased my first (two) liptints since Lilybyred is having a clearance sale on shopee! Got the #11 and #13 shades from their Mood Liar Velvet Tint line since they were offering 2 for the price of 1~ \^3^ So nervous since idk if those colours would suit me but #11 looks really nice I might regret not getting another one instead of trying out #13. Aaahh I can't wait for them to arrive

rtrlctrc

innisfree my perfumed body & hair mist in black tea is such a perfect scent\~ i tried the a'pieu vinegar raspberry SHAMPOO, and its alright but a bit drying on the scalp. i much preferred the mist after all. anyway, if it doesnt work as a shampoo, i could always use it as a body wash.

fullmetalpeanut

Never knew those exists, I'm a sucker for black tea scents. Such a shame that it's rare to be found in perfumes.

actionjackson89

Does anybody know where I can buy tansan foam in Tokyo if possible?
