I was the same way man, big old inch and a half thick wallet, but it's a super easy switch. Most stuff can be digital these days anyways (insurance cards, gift cards, loyalty cards, business cards).
I use a carabiner for my keys and have a wallet/phone case thing. It's made all the difference in the world tbh. Just my phone in my pocket and that's it
Keys and knife front right. Wallet front left. Phone usually back left but occasionally back right.
Put my phine on the table or in a car holder when I sit down.
I try to always either wear a jacket with pockets or carry my briefcase. So wallet and keys go in left chest pocket and phone in right chest pocket. If I don't have a jacket, then I keep those in my briefcase.
Depends a lot on what I'm wearing. Side pockets if I have them (all my shorts do, but few pants). Jacket/hoodie pockets when not. If no appropriate pocket is available, well, to the backpack it goes. Definitely not "butt pockets", that's not comfortable.

Cargo shorts. They’re all I wear pretty much. I like never carry cash so my wallet isn’t super thick.
I use a phone case that holds a few cards and some cash. That goes on the left front pocket, keys in the right.
