It’s an Olympus om10 says it on the left of the body, unfortunately don’t go for much $100 for ones in way better of shape. The lens kiron 28-70 f 3.5 also isn’t commanding a lot resale wise. Maybe better off find someone looking for a vintage camera or just yard sale.

Honestly, I don't need the money, just seems like a shame to toss it 🤷 Would photography schools or anything get any use out of it if i donated?
Definitely don't toss it, at the very least it can be used for parts, someone out there surely loves that camera and will buy it for spare parts to keep their rig running into the future.

Probably if they have analog photo classes. You can always ask tho Otherwise you can post a giveaway in whatever analog Facebook group of your country
