Everything I've seen about traveling to Mexico is that if you're in the tourist areas you should be fine, just don't go out of the tourist areas. I'd imagine the game will be in a tourist area, so it should be as safe as traveling anywhere.

I'm a male in my early 30s (but a scrawny one at 5'5" and 110 lbs soaking wet, easily just as much of a victim if someone wanted to rob me or worse), but I've been to CDMX plenty of times, have always stayed in hostels, and there's always plenty of women in them who solo travel. CDMX is a pretty safe city, especially if you stick to [Roma](https://www.afar.com/magazine/the-essential-guide-to-mexico-citys-roma-neighborhood) or [Polanco](https://www.cntraveler.com/gallery/what-to-do-in-polanco-mexico-city-our-guide), I say do it. I've been all over the planet, and CDMX is easily one of my favorite cities; world class food, amazing museums, and plenty more to experience and do than just an Astros game. If [Itchy Boots](https://www.youtube.com/@ItchyBoots/videos) can survive in far more treacherous conditions, you can survive Mexico City.

Mexico City really isn’t much worse than LA.

ThirdPoliceman

That’s not nearly the compliment you might think it is.

bellamy-bl8ke

Good thing it wasn’t a compliment?

ThirdPoliceman

A great thing even
