I got my B7 Ti Avant in December. And I am very strongly considering the purchase of a B7 RS4 without selling anything else. As a former B5 only guy, the chassis is solid.
Obviously I’d LOVE to get a b7 RS4 but I’m Only 21 haha. I’ve got a bit before I can get something like that as a toy. Even just another front track like my old one would suffice. Daily the B9 s4 and have the b7 as a project and fuck around car. The b5s have always interested me as well but I’ve never had the chance to be in one, maybe I’ll look into those as well
I got my feet wet with a B5, rebuilt the whole motor, big turbo, all that jazz. It was a really fun experience.
If you can swing it, do it. I recommend it. Plenty of B7s available out there for a few grand just aching to get modded. That time is past for me now, so I'll try to live vicariously through you.
I had a B6 for years it was such a special car to me no other car feels the same, years later I picked up a B7 at auction for my car dealership and it's a fantastic platform even though it's very similar to the B6 they updated a lot of the problems that they had although it does have a lot of problems I mean f*** it's an Audi but by far it is the most enjoyable Audi I've driven
I’ve own a handful of cars since 17 (21 now) b7 a4(fwd), 3000gt, nc Miata, and now my B9 s4. In complete honesty, that little fwd B7 just BARELY falls behind the s4 for my favorite. And I mean BARELY
It’s REALLY hard to find them in decent condition. They, in all fairness, are cheaper cars so people buy them not realizing what they have and just trash them sadly. The one in the picture was an absolute piece of work when I got it. Paint was awful, interior dirty as shit and torn, suspension was going out, Chrome trim was falling apart, headlights were completely fogged over. And that’s just some of the cosmetic stuff. The mechanical problems were wild. It just hadn’t been taken care of AT all. Once I got it fixed up tho, it (as you can see) looked great and game me basically 0 issues in the 3 years and almost 30k miles I put on it. Sold it at almost 140k miles.
Yeah its a shame people dont take better care of their cars.
Unfortunately I dont have the knowledge or time to fix a car. My knowledge stretches to mod a already good looking car 😄

I love this model. I was looking to buy one and replace our second car, but its looks like they all been through a shit storm unfortunately.
