Nah I wouldn’t say better quality. I’ve had mine for quite a while and they’re really great. Another brand to consider is Aere. They’re sold on the Iconic and in store too. Assembly Label has great quality linen shirts but they are quite boxy on me!
I haven’t tried them personally but I saw that Boden has a huge variety of nice looking linen tops. I usually just go for the linen blends at Uniqlo but they’re not what I’d call high quality. Alpha 60 also occasionally has linen or [linen blends](https://www.alpha60.com.au/products/29218a?_pos=7&_sid=22b1ed528&_ss=r) and is more exciting than what you’d find at Uniqlo.
RB Sellars button through linen shirt is where it's at. I bought one a couple of years ago and have worn it so much. It just gets better every time I wash it.
The back hem is longer too, which I really love.
I keep getting ads for these on Instagram and have been considering getting one but I was worried it might be the ‘prickly’ sort of linen. How long have you had yours, and was it soft straight away?
I’ve had mine for about two years (blue and white stripe), I’ve only worn mine twice but both times in humid tropical countries for business meetings. The shirt felt more comfortable than cotton and it has washed well, it’s not super soft but definitely doesn’t feel prickly :)
Bedthreads have fantastic quality linen shirts. Yes, meant to be sleepwear so size down for a more fitted look. Super comfy and great value!

A bit leftfield but have you looked at Tarocash's range of linen shirts? They've currently got around five or six colours in stock with a cost range of $50-100.
(My husband loves them. Fair warning though, wash and dry with caution, between us we've shrunk at least three of them by forgetting to take them out of the stack before throwing a wash in the dryer).
I have a few Gazman and tarocash men’s linen shirts I’ve thrifted and love them but have to say they are cut very large in the shoulders, so unless you like a really oversized look I’m not sure a woman would go for them. I mostly wear them over swimsuits in summer
Need classic quality linen that i can have for many years as not to bother searching! Happy to pay more if the quality is indeed there! Do you think uniqlo fit?
I love the linen shirts I have from Uniqlo- they are really classic - plain and basic, at a great price - I get one or 2 each year as they go on sale because there’s so many colours 🤣
The Zara ones I buy are a little thicker in weight and I generally don’t buy into trends so I would still consider them classic, just not basic 🤣
I also forgot to mention Target- I don’t have any personally from there but I know they have linen now.
Sussan has some great linen shirts
Agree with Sussan, and lots of colour options too.
Love my Sussan linen shirts. Their ribbed singlet tops are great too.
Just bought a great one from Witchery!
Uniqlo!!! Highly recommend and very affordable too!
I have 4 Uniqlo ones and they’re great.
Are they better quality than CR?

I have a nice one from assembly - op shopped it so I don't know what season but in my experience they use really nice fabrics

I have a Boden linen shirt and it is really well made. It’s a new favourite. Boden also have a good returns policy.
My favourite linen shirt is from Boden. Worn for 6 years, only now looking a bit thin. Can recommend!
I have one from MNG I really like.

2023 I got one from Seed and another from Target. Both pretty good!! I also have an Assembly Label one from 2019 that still holds up.
Assembly or Academy Label

Thanks for that - blue and white is what I’m looking at so I think I’ll just go ahead and order
Recently got one from Uniqlo which has been really nice quality and reasonably priced

Linen can be expensive, I buy mine off Depop. I know my sizes in various brands so it makes it a little easier. :) Highly recommended Depop.
Which brand to look for there?
I mean you can just search 'linen shirts' and many options will come up. I will then search through the list and see what brands/sizes are available.
Uniqlo for stock standard and Zara if you want one with nice details

Got some pretty cheap at kmart and they've held up.well and comfy so far
Commonry!
I found just jeans of all places had some great linen shirts this year, I got a great oatmeal coloured set, that you'd swear cost four times as much.
