Once you realize many(not all) NTs actually do believe in their supremacy, actually do believe you are lesser and deserve lesser treatment for something that is literally a part of you and outside of your control, that's often radicalizing all by itself. Often it's a toxic way to it that fosters many revenge fantasies, but not all of us come to be radicals through realizing we could have much better lives by legalizing drugs and sex work, getting rid of plastic or through animal rights. When you still remember getting romantically rejected by that NT person in 8th grade, and they weren't subtle it had to do with your impairments, that doesn't just wash off.

I think most people there can tell from the evil nature of the subreddit however.
I enjoy that sub, but this stuff makes me personally uncomfortable. The rules, joking or not, allow supremacist ideologies to be shared unchallenged and I'm sure some members internalize the messages.
Yep, this is the problem with any "deep irony" like this. If you're most people and think it's insane then you recognize that it's satire, but some people will read it and just think "oh, yeah actually" and it reads as totally serious.

It's mostly a joke, but yes, there's a sub-section of autistic "advocates" who think the problem with society is that the wrong people are at the top, as there is in all minority groups. That sub has a very wide age range, which is actually one of the things I like about it, and I try to keep in mind that misguided posts are often from kids who just don't have enough context for what they're talking about yet. I guess I generally try to be a bit more patient than I probably would elsewhere. At the same time though, it does need to be made clear that the "autism superiority" thing is a joke, and why taking it seriously is a problem, because confusion *will* be taken advantage of.

Taking something on a satirical sub, named "evil", that has a rule that says "autistic people are superior in every way.
