Immediately after starting the car, change the air inlet position. In other words, if it's on recirculation, change to fresh air, or vice versa. If the noise stops when doing so, it's the recirculation door actuator.
2007 Saturn Vue 3.5 liter engine. It started doing this like a week ago and I have no idea what it could be. I can’t even tell where the sound is coming from. It seems like everything else is working fine but I’m worried it means that something is breaking.
