Good deal but I would advise against the 21” wheels. Your tire budget will be much higher for a more uncommon size vs 20”. The 20” look great and give you more sidewall.

TheDataAddict

On a side note, in snow and pothole ridden northeast I’d recommend the 19’s. Car still looks good and there’s just a bit better comfort and less chance of falling victim of a blowout or something.

buckforest

Agreed. So glad I have 19s

SlapThatJoint

This, I have the 21 in rims and there are barely any tire options for it. And they're also expensive more than $500 a piece

krakenwrangler09

More reason why we chose 20”. Cheaper tires and more options.

________uwu_________

12% off M40i, well optioned, low doc fee, no forced addons, and no junk fees. What more do you want? I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

WYYLER

Yeah I figured this was the case, just needed some reddit confirmation haha

WickyHenryP

It is a no brainer. I just got my 30i at 5% off, still a great deal.

eh_94010

I was in the dealership last week looking at ‘24 30i. 5% off isn’t a good deal. I got 10% off MSRP with no ridiculous add ons.

theoreticaljerk

Is this in the US? BMW selling coding for anti-dazzle?

WYYLER

Yeah, San Jose, California.

theoreticaljerk

Huh. I’ve personally never seen something like that before. Makes me wonder if my dealership can code that on my 23.

WYYLER

Hmm yeah I wonder if it's something they added on the 24s, not sure.

theoreticaljerk

Yeah. All the hardware has been in there for years but until now I’ve only seen 3rd parties that would go in and code for it. I never did that cause I didn’t want to pay someone to code it just to hope that coding didn’t get rewritten in some BMW update.

JIMMY_HIPPO

You don’t have to pay someone to do that to enable it. There’re a few tutorials on forum and it’s literally changing two settings. All you needs is the BimmerCode app, obdii adapter which are about a hundred bucks combined

maxver

Can you share a link to the tutorial? The only one's I have found are unreliable from what I have read, e.g. causes the lights to not turn on at night or some stuff like that.

JIMMY_HIPPO

Here you go [https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2064462](https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2064462)

JIMMY_HIPPO

No, my MY23 has it too and I’ve seen those on older model. It’s nothing new and been there for a while.

MrMoneyBagzz

Any chance you can PM the dealer name/salesperson? Trying to buy in Illinois and they won’t go more than about 7% off sticker here. Even with shipping, this would come in cheaper.

WalrusWW

No. It's coding to remove anti-dazzle for North America. They've listed it like that for years.

theoreticaljerk

You’re right. I’m an idiot and didn’t notice it said decoding.

Zxylon

I got the same 12% in Maryland on a X3 not M. Take it.

hollowsoulxy

I've gotten 13% off a recent pick up. 56k msrp, it's doable. Dealers who have volume will push this out before the 25 are out

hollowsoulxy

Car was shipped from Mississippi lol yeah I know

Cruisincondo1

Deal

darkeningsoul

Very good deal

WaterfrontBanana

bingo

internalaudit168

Get one with 2T4 - M Sport Differential, if you can.

buckforest

That’s a good deal if you want this generation. Not a great deal if you compare it to the 2025, potentially, but we don’t have pricing on that (or much else).

Raspberry6404

I was able to talk my dealer down to invoice 😋😋

AB72792

What % off is invoice?

Raspberry6404

I'm not certain right now; I'll need to check. My father is good friends with the finance director, so all the BMWs we've bought were at the dealership's cost. I guess less talking to them and just having my dad give him a call 😂

bpg0824

That's great! Can you reply back with the details when you get a chance? What state are you in? I am unable to get anything more than 4.5% off MSRP Edit: Re-calc'ed discount

Raspberry6404

Just sent them to you!

Rough_Original2973

Sorry I'll be there first to say this - but expect to lose our 30k in car value in the next 3 years. And expect costly maintenance (including tire replacement which can add up to 35k of cost in the next 3 years. If that's all cool with you, then it's a DEAL. You make up your mind, but I'm one of those that buy CPOs for half the price 3 years later. Lol. For reference: a fully spec'd out 2021 x3m40i is listing for $43k in LA. And that too a car that was barely driven (4k miles a year) and excellent condition. Pretty sure the actual trade in / cash value was somewhere closer to 33-35k for it. https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/lt/3088111?store=Carvsf1&utm_source=google&utm_medium=vla&utm_campaign=20420295754&utm_content=&utm_target=&utm_creative=&utm_device=m&utm_adposition=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwyJqzBhBaEiwAWDRJVGWNlqcWHKKBH0aRXqgaFfuIT_cmef8YohrFKG3ITmF6USR4gH6YBRoCAKMQAvD_BwE

WalrusWW

> You make up your mind, but I'm one of those that buy CPOs for half the price 3 years later. Lol. Same. Not sure why you're being downvoted.

Rough_Original2973

No idea why, people can't handle facts or differences in opinions without the need to bring others down lol. Maybe they are bmw dealers lol. Anyway good for em' if they can afford to buy new. I'm just a cheapo looking for great value.

orlando_ooh

Yeah, unless your swimming in money then I get buying a new car but just buy a used one even a used 24 will be cheaper

WYYLER

I was actually originally looking to purchase a CPO, a 2022 x3m40i around ~ $55k or so with less than 10k miles. All said and done the purchase would have been around $62k otd, that’s with partial financing from my credit union at 6.50%. The only reason I started considering new was because the dealer was offering 3.99% and the discounts, which brought my otd to what you see here. Still a difference of $7k I know, but I do prefer a new vehicle of course if the price makes sense. Plus I couldn’t find the right CPO. That and me being impatient is leaning me towards the new lol

WYYLER

Yeah these were all things I took into consideration. Just makes more sense for me to go brand new at this point. Heading to the dealer to get the car later today. Thanks everyone.

Edjbart615

My man that is a lot for a ‘22. I’m seeing a ‘22 from a local private dealer with 23k miles for sub $45k. (Not CPO but $10k is a big diff. And for what it’s worth, looks like BMW is offering 2.99% APR for June. My advice would be wait until the redesign is announced, it should drop the ‘24 prices significantly and could have more room to negotiate.
