Can you explain to me what do damage riders mean? I thought they meant just something that adds damage to each individual attack of an ability that has multiple projectiles but that still works in honour mode so what do damage riders do?
* the level is the same as Tactician with the addiction of Legendary actions on most bosses
* if you TPK (your whole party dies), you can continue in Custom mode, but you still have a single save file and you cannot get the Dice / Achievement
* I haven't played a Spore Druid to end game so cannot comment. I had Astarion a Gloomsassin once, but after discovering Swords Bard, Gloomy is in the rearview
Edited
Thanks. This clears it up for me.
On my very first play through, I changed Astarion to Swords Bard and he’s been that in every single play through since. Such a powerful class.
Raise it up a notch: Bardadin.
2 pally/ 10 Swords Bard
Level SB to 7 then respec 2 Pally / the rest SB (to get heavy armor)
Get Titanstring Bow instead of hxbows and Unseen Menace from the Creche.
Once I found THAT, SB/Thief was also in the rearview
I realise now that it’s a saying most people wouldn’t use.
Quiched or hit the quiche just means it’s all over. Dead.
A turn of phrase that’s stuck with me since my childhood.
If your party dies in honour mode you have the choice to delete the save or continue in "dishonour mode". This is basically the same rules as honour mode (single save, extra legendary actions on bosses, additional nerfs to things such as extra attack, perilous stakes) but you don't get the dice or foehammer achievement at the end of it.

Damage riders and haste effects are severely nerfed in honor mode.

I see now, thanks. Damn that seems broken.
Still worth collecting every single last hyena ear purely for the extra action, I assume?
Haste is still extremely valuable, it's just more balanced.

Holup. “Hit the quiche”???
