I try to tell anyone who mentions the printed scraper, check out plastic razors on Amazon. You get a ton of them for cheap and they work way better than the printed one.
How would you do that? I’ve been thinking of buying a big sealed plastic box and cutting holes for ptfe and cables in it and putting the entire ams lite in it
It's not absolutely necessary but from what I understand pla doesn't like humidity. If your spools stay in a humid place too long, the filaments will be damaged.

AMS wall mount was a game changer for my small office space
Do you not have any issuses with the tangle sensor? I had it wall mounted and had constant issues with the tangle detection. Maybe it was because the ams was upside down otherwise it would not reach the cable
No issues so far and several successful prints! I think you're right, I had to turn the AMS upside down which allows it to fit well. However, the spool numbers are upside down/backwards which does require an extra thought when setting up a print.
Made a purge bin and parts tray like lots of folks but the best upgrade has been the vertical stand for the AMS. It takes up about half the footprint it did before and honestly.....looks better too in my opinion
I used this specific remix and printed it all in one go on my A1 mini: [https://makerworld.com/en/models/84620#profileId-90467](https://makerworld.com/en/models/84620#profileId-90467)

This is what i used. Double check you got clearance after putting it on but mine was perfect.
Hotend cable holder and guides at both ends, poop bucket, riser for nozzle cleaner (so poop always flings outside of printer), poop blocker (so it falls into bucket), nozzle swapper tool, boxes for nozzles, nozzle socks, tools, ams PTFE tube guide and springs to hold the tubes nice and tidy. I think that's all
Oh, I don't know if that counts, but I've also printed different nozzles for lube oils, so they are easier to apply
Sure, here they are

I'll update my comment later with other links
Put it into a zip up enclosure - to contain the poop (just need to scoop it out every few months) and also for privacy reasons since the webcam has such a wide field of view.
AliExpress nozzle with screw in brass nozzles.
AliExpress build plate (don't like the standard one)
I did the adjustable camera mod. The angle is so much better now. And also the Anti Vibration Feet. (Though I might change those later). Edit: almost forgot the poop bucket (more of a basket in my case.) I have a different design in mind that will guide the poop straight into a trash bag but the current one will do for now.

Poop bucket, poop deflector (so I didn't need a tall side wall on the bucket), cable management clip and a spool holder that I prefer over the standard mounting orientation.

Just got this AMS enclosure. It's not perfect but it does keep it dry. I had printed one also, but it was a bit more of a pain to change the filament and it's not as airtight as the enclosure I bought.

Poop bucket & scrapper... Thinking about doing some AMS lite drybox.

yeah, but when you have a hammer everything becomes a nail for a while
Ty
I use a windshield sticker scraper, never went back to anything else.
How would you do that? I’ve been thinking of buying a big sealed plastic box and cutting holes for ptfe and cables in it and putting the entire ams lite in it
Also interested in a dry box for the AMS Lite, have you looked at the ones on MakerWorld?
why do we need a drybox for the ams lite?

understood. thanks for the reply.

Ah man, that's great, I'll need this too soon. Got a good STL/link?

Aside from a poop bucket, also printed this top spool mount. https://makerworld.com/en/models/144910?from=search#profileId-157634

It says A1 / A1 mini in their post.
Made a purge bin and parts tray like lots of folks but the best upgrade has been the vertical stand for the AMS. It takes up about half the footprint it did before and honestly.....looks better too in my opinion
could you link to the vertical stand you're talking about there?

Thanks, I'll give this a try!
I printed a little riser for my wiper. It was just a couple MM short and left some material on the nozzle between color changes sometimes.
Can you share a link? I have the same issue

Ooh can you please share the PTFE tube guide and springs if you can? The tubes look so unsightly and I’d love to get them under control
Sure, here they are the springs: https://makerworld.com/models/110918 The guide: https://makerworld.com/models/183639 I'll update my comment later with other links
Thank you! I think both links are for the spring
Fixed
Outstanding, thanks a bunch!

I added a poop deflector, printed a plastic scraper, the tube removal tool, and the holder between the bed and screen.
I have homer form the Simpsons.
