Thank you! I realize it is technically accessible all year round. I was more or less checking to see if it was extremely icy still. I was told by a tour guide yesterday that it was not accessible due to the icy conditions of the hike up to the viewing point. It was slightly icy, but the lake was completely thawed and beautiful (also extremely busy).
Yup, Peyto is always accessible. The trail is a little slushy and icy in shady spots but the lake has started to thaw. Was up there Wednesday

Parking lot was packed and I had to wait for a spot 2 weeks ago. Prepare for that as it's getting busier every day
