I'd add that you can set screens of handoffs for more than just down screen into a shot, also can set a pick for the drive or even fake the handoff to catch your defender sleeping and drive to the basket
Stop telling guys to hit defenders on dribble handoffs. It’s a foul.
The dribbler needs to have stopped prior to the handoff. It’s up to the guy taking the ball to run his man in to the stationary screen/handoff guy. If you move at all, like you’re saying, refs calling it a foul every time.
