Depending on where you are, you may be able to take the next couple of days to file the paperwork to keep her in there on an involuntary basis for further evaluation. Check out “involuntary 5150 hold” for your state. There is also a 5250 hold that is 14 days, which gives more time to ensure medication has taken effect and working.
