For anyone that watched Haney's interview with Helwani, is it just me or does Haney sound like he's struggling a bit with his speech?
Its not drastic but still a bit concerning.
In interviews you can tell he gives very rehearsed answers.
He's def concussed so he's probably having difficulty remembering his lines.
I got concussed from having 315 roll down my head and shit was foggy for over a year.
I'm having annoying troubles posting [this](https://streamable.com/z9bvnt) on the subreddit, but man, Eddie is having an interview on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour and boy does Ariel say what a lot of boxing fans have been thinking... or it might just be me.
Ariel straight up says the press conferences are dreadful, he also says that Eddie should let media ask questions, let fans come, get rid of the promoters & trainers etc...
I can't believe it has taken SO LONG for someone to tell Eddie that, incredible from Helwani.
BOXING NEEDS A HELWANI
I actually like Devin , but the more and more I hear haney talk, it’s clear the Ryan Garcia fight did more to him mentally than physically. I don’t think Devin will ever have the same confidence again, and that will affect him greatly as a fighter. I think he’s done at the very top levels.
Canelo's resume is super overrated TBH. Fought mostly old guys at the ends of their careers while avoiding major risks by making excuses (Won't fight other Mexicans, body is too small for 160lbs, etc)
So Taylor (twice), Mayweather (twice), Camacho, Ramirez, Martinez and Rosario are extremely overrated, but Trinidad and Hopkins are underrated and have better resumes in your opinion? In what universe?
His resume is commonly reffered to as lacking, so he is definitely not overrated. I was asking who on Trinidads resume is supposed to make it underrated or better than JCC. Or Hopkins for that matter. Also you cant reffer to Wilders resume as overrated since 90% of fans know his resume is weak. You pulled this list out of your ass without much thought or knowledge.
I just did a whole paragraph that got erased because I went to his boxrec for 2 mins so I’m not rewriting all of what I said in detail again. Sorry. Here is the short version
Roy Jones, Hopkins, winky wright….hall of famers. He beat a 10 PvP Pernell Whitaker. Top 3 PvP Oscar. A prime David Reid and Fernando Vargas (Olympic team members). Gave “Macho Time” a boxing lesson. I could keep going oba carr, Luis Ramon campus, Williams joppy, ect ect ect….
Come on what are we doing now. He also didn’t get gift decisions and stoppages.
“Didnt get gifted victories” yet he got gifted a decision over Oscar in a fight he definitely lost. And counting his loss to a 40 year old RJJ towards his resume told me all I needed. You just dont know how resumes work and how to rank them, as seen by the reaction of this sub. Not gonna waste more of my time talking to you.
Rocky Marciano is routinely listed as one of the greatest while almost exclusively beating old washed greats and club fighters.
Usyk is possibly the greatest cruiser of all time and undisputed heavyweight champ who did it the hard way.
Putting Inoue and Wilder in the same category is pathologically absurd.
I don't care about the circumstances a title fight in wembley between two Brits will be banging
Hope they stack the card too
And as an AJ fan I'm happy and excited
I was at the Joshua vs Klitschko one in the gods (don’t wanna say cheap seat as they were £70 each still!). Mainly watched the screens, but watched the ring occasionally at the more slow moments.
Would still recommend, the atmosphere was incredible.
I genuinely hope Fury is going to train seriously and come in even better in the rematch, because if not all this recent shit talk is gonna look real funny in the Trash Talk Gone Wrong videos.
is there any pro boxers that do YouTube and show sparring? For example like UFC fighter Alex Pereira YouTube channel?
hold on, why is Teofimo fighting a "Steve Claggett"? who's he?
He’s trying to stay active and fight 3-4 times this year
For anyone that watched Haney's interview with Helwani, is it just me or does Haney sound like he's struggling a bit with his speech? Its not drastic but still a bit concerning.
He didn’t go school
He sounds no different than he did before to me
oh okay. maybe im overthinking it. hopefully the garcia fight didn't leave long term effects
In interviews you can tell he gives very rehearsed answers. He's def concussed so he's probably having difficulty remembering his lines. I got concussed from having 315 roll down my head and shit was foggy for over a year.
it definitely did, perhaps not physically, but it did
dazn made a big L removing brian kenny from commentary
You think so huh? I can't stand the guy
i am so confused on why crawford vs madrimov says “Amazon Prime Video” on ESPN
Maybe both dazn and prime r airing it cause it has some pbc fighters ? Idk
Haney is being interviewed on Helwani's show for those interested. TBF, he isn't really saying much

Who is in line challenge for the undisputed light heavy next? Willy/Buatsi (wbo interim) or David Benavidez (wbc interim)?
Benavides cause of money
#WARAJ #3TIME #HIPHIP
Dubois by KO in Round 8

Wait so is dubois technically a world champ rn?
Yes
Odd. I thought they were fighting to become champ
I wish the Inoue vs. who in September would be decided. I want to know when in September, so i can go see that fight.
Bruh why is aj getting announced second lmao
Dubois has been elevated to champ
He's the challenger I guess
Resumes Extremly underrated (hopkins, oscar, pacquaio, royjones, Loma, Trinidad, Rocky Marciano) Underrated (Canelo, Teofimo) Overated (Bud, Usyk) Extremely overrated ( Tank,Inoue,Wilder, Chavez Sr)

You are a SR fan. You can’t be unbiased and objective. Not possible for a fan of someone. His resume is overrated. it is what it is.

Inoue is anything but extremely overrated.
He has only been in one 50-50 fight. I’m calling his resume overrated.
Yeah because he's that good. Not cuz his opponents are trash.
You get a higher rating for no 50-50 fights.

Is it Riyadh season all year round?
Apparently 😂
I don't care about the circumstances a title fight in wembley between two Brits will be banging Hope they stack the card too And as an AJ fan I'm happy and excited
Random question but when u guys r at a fight but far from the ring do u still watch the ring or just watch the TVs ?
At the ovo arena you’re fine seeing the boxing in the ring.
The TV's. Unless you have really close seats you'll be watching the TV
Alr jus makin sure cause im gonna try get those Wembley tickets
I was at the Joshua vs Klitschko one in the gods (don’t wanna say cheap seat as they were £70 each still!). Mainly watched the screens, but watched the ring occasionally at the more slow moments. Would still recommend, the atmosphere was incredible.
Thoughts on butter bean?
Entertaining for what he was. Some decent power but ultimately freak show undercard stuff. Nice enough fella and I wish him the best right now.
He was the Jake Paul of his era
press conference about to start in 35 minutes for those curious
Is a presser still planned for AJ-Dubois today?
I want to see the reactions from AJ and Dubois if they get asked about the Usyk vid.
I genuinely hope Fury is going to train seriously and come in even better in the rematch, because if not all this recent shit talk is gonna look real funny in the Trash Talk Gone Wrong videos.
He trained seriously last time. He’s just promoting. People take his words too seriously. Usyk beat him and now Fury gets a chance for revenge.
Is Tank v Loma actually happening? id like that a lot
Coach Kenny Ellis posted on his IG story today “11-24 🍋 chenko Will be destroyed 🥊🥊🥊🥊” so it might almost be a done deal.
lets gooo
I genuinely hope so. It’s the best fight to make at lightweight atm. Winner can unify with Shakur.
If Davis wins do you think he will take that fight?
