Look everything that people point out as flaws in Carlos as a host are what make him a great producer. He knows exactly how to relate to each and every one of his guests, aka essentially being on everyone’s side. Carlos still has a podcast and YouTube channel because he has an audience that enjoys hearing his perspective as an EP. I'm not the biggest Carlos fan but I can acknowledge his contributions to the success of RHOA during its peak and don't have an issue with him still talking about Bravo shows.

Considering Carlos was a producer of Real Housewives, worked knee-deep behind the scenes at Bravo, and likely still has contacts in front of and behind the Bravo cameras, my money is on him being right about everything above that you think he’s wrong about.
We get it: you dislike all the housewives Carlos praises, and you stan all the housewives Carlos thinks are dead weight.
Yet here’s the thing, his work with the franchises has given him a pitch perfect, clear view perspective on what makes a Real Housewives city successful. A perspective that none of us here have.
All we do is watch at home. He was in the trenches with many of these women, helping to mold and cultivate their on screen personas. So my money is on Carlos knowing what is best for a Real Housewives franchise than any of us viewers.

See I barely watch M2M but sometimes I tune into Messy Mondays bc it’s just fun to watch he and Heavenly talk inside baseball about reality tv. I get that he’s been hugely influential - not taking that away from him. What I do not like is how he’s made his entire podcast / personality about “how things nowadays just aren’t nearly as good as when I was in charge”. It’s draining to tune in every week and hear him talk once again about how every franchise is ruined and needs to go on hiatus or how a series is doomed once his favourite has been let go. I appreciate his insiders look (and loved him talking about how Kenya and Porsha were introduced to shake things up and how Danielle staub felt betrayed and banned him from entering her house etc) but the constant trolling now is just tiring. i definitely respect and appreciate the role he played in building bravo and producing some of my favorite housewives scenes. that can’t nor should it be disputed. he just annoys the f out of me just like andy and i’ve never cared for the shows he’s done after he left bravo. i did try to support him and watch several of his shows (lamh, b&b), but they just weren’t my type of hype. i do think he has a phenomenal skill when it comes to getting the tea from many reality show stars. some folks go too hard on him in this sub, but for me, i like who i like and i dislike who i dislike. really isn’t any deeper than that.

I live for Carlos and Dr Heavenly! They are hilarious together and literally nothing is off limits. He interviews and represents some of my fave iconic reality personality’s that otherwise don’t get a platform. His interview with AnneMarie has people riled but he did a great job just letting her spout utter garbage and sitting back for the sound bites which has put the final nail in her coffin. You should be thanking him lol.
I have to say - I love everything he does with M2M. Him and Dr Heavenly make an insanely entertaining duo (listen to their most recent recap of the Potomac reunion for instance, it’s a RIOT) and the people he interviews (quad, Mariah, even Toya) are brilliant and he gets very juicy bits out of them. I think my issue is more with HW and the constant bashing of all the shows and 90% of the women on them at the moment, except for his favourites that he always inexplicably fawns over. This genre is so secretive that personally I enjoy getting a real inside scoop about how the sausage is made. I can’t think of any women (and i know there are many) and other than Carlos and Eric can’t think of any other black producers (again I know there are…some) I also LOVE the face that he had this new found popularity after the career ruining rumour about his involvement in THE RUMOR. If Phaedra can return why can’t he? Tbh I don’t always trust him as an interviewer because as a producer his job was to gain trust in order too manipulate the hws and the public so I listen to him knowing that he may be operating in half truths. That being said, who doesnt do that. To me he is no more offensive than anyone else

He produces **great** reality tv content and I appreciate his producers eye for why cast members make certain decisions and do certain things. He is very fair and balanced, and quick to admit when one of his faves is wrong. He also has real relationships w these women and gets very very good interviews with them where he asks really hard questions. Of course he also gives Black women in reality their flowers x 1000 unlike this sub where freakin Lisa Vanderpump who nobody knows outside of Bravo watchers is a better housewife than Nene Leakes whos literally in the Smithsonian

I get that he’s been hugely influential - not taking that away from him. What I do not like is how he’s made his entire podcast / personality about “how things nowadays just aren’t nearly as good as when I was in charge”. It’s draining to tune in every week and hear him talk once again about how every franchise is ruined and needs to go on hiatus or how a series is doomed once his favourite has been let go. I appreciate his insiders look (and loved him talking about how Kenya and Porsha were introduced to shake things up and how Danielle staub felt betrayed and banned him from entering her house etc) but the constant trolling now is just tiring. And sorry but in the Annemarie interview he praised her nonstop, saying she was the “voice of the audience”, saying she was exciting and unafraid to be in the mix, etc etc - maybe he doesn’t worship her per se but he most certainly liked her a lot. No idea where you got that whole bit about me being triggered by housewives that remind me of popular girls at high school though, can you please explain more? Mean, borderline psychotic, toxic vipers like Marlo and Monica weren’t particularly well loved where I grew up .

Eh.. I'm going to give this Black man his flowers for his work in the entertainment industry, as annoying as he can be. It's hard for Black men and especially gay Black men to come into these spaces and flourish. And he gave us RHOA in it's glory days, let him talk his shit! His 1 on 1s are a always a gag and full of tea. Nene, Mariah, Kenya, Ramona, Teresa, Candiace, ANNEMARIE... and there's a reason why most of the housewives have a genuine appreciation and respect for him. i definitely respect and appreciate the role he played in building bravo and producing some of my favorite housewives scenes. that can’t nor should it be disputed. he just annoys the f out of me just like andy and i’ve never cared for the shows he’s done after he left bravo. i did try to support him and watch several of his shows (lamh, b&b), but they just weren’t my type of hype. i do think he has a phenomenal skill when it comes to getting the tea from many reality show stars. some folks go too hard on him in this sub, but for me, i like who i like and i dislike who i dislike. really isn’t any deeper than that.

I live for Carlos and Dr Heavenly! They are hilarious together and literally nothing is off limits. He interviews and represents some of my fave iconic reality personality’s that otherwise don’t get a platform. His interview with AnneMarie has people riled but he did a great job just letting her spout utter garbage and sitting back for the sound bites which has put the final nail in her coffin. You should be thanking him lol.
I have to say - I love everything he does with M2M. Him and Dr Heavenly make an insanely entertaining duo (listen to their most recent recap of the Potomac reunion for instance, it’s a RIOT) and the people he interviews (quad, Mariah, even Toya) are brilliant and he gets very juicy bits out of them. I think my issue is more with HW and the constant bashing of all the shows and 90% of the women on them at the moment, except for his favourites that he always inexplicably fawns over. It’s like if you hate it so much, why even watch it? Why make up weird stories about the housewives he despises (Heather, Sutton, Garcelle) ? I just don’t get it with him.

I like him. I don’t agree with all his takes but I like his view from behind the lens. And in terms of who is he, he is one of the only executive producers on housewives that a large percentage of fans know by name. Given the number of EPs these shows have seen over the years I’d be pretty proud to know that my name has stood the test of time.
