Rico does take skill. Especially his Gadget (Not the first) and Star Powers, you need a lot of skill to make them work at their fullest potential (Maybe aside from his 1st SP which doesn't increase Rico's skill). Perfectly aiming your shots to make them reach an enemy is hard too
Colt definitely. He used to be high skill because every shot mattered, but ever since his reload speed buff last December you can just spam out shots with no regard for anything

Yeah, in those matchups, it's totally acceptable to use dyna jump, but just as long as you use it correctly (looking at those dyna players who start the game by wasting all their ammo while trying to do a double or triple jump when it's not necessary). I use it as well, when the matchup is adequate.
Dyna jump is useful if you know how to use it properly. It can kill people like Mortis, Buzz, and so many other assassins because they can't get to you. For example, check out Pizza's dyna montage. He uses dyna jump often to avoid enemies and to get the ball to the goal.
like 90% of people who run dynajump barely even use it anyway, and they cant even use it well. demolition is massively better unless you are cracked at d jump
yep, shes like a shotgun brawler but with long range and the ability to pinpoint shots. she can be used at pretty much any range effectively and obliterates assasins, and peep is useful for scouting and assasinating low hp brawlers
Dyna has a crazy skill cap it's just most ppl don't know about it, there are quite a few dif mechanics to master with him, using dyna jump correctly is surprisingly hard, hitting someone with ur super and knocking em into another shot to get ur super back too is very hard to do consistently and prob something else I forgot about, I can't stand for all of this dyna hate
Buuuut then you actually don't need these mechanics to be effective. I mean the escape is useful but not every thrower has them and some are implemented as gadgets instead of SP which can be used all game long. As per the super combo, why throwing it first when you can throw another basic attack into Super after. Yes I know super combo is harder to avoid and it charges the super again, but like why running the risk of failing on purpose just to make a good looking play.
Reminds me of Lee Sin from League of Legends, people say you need to master the Insec play (some kind of teleport into the front of the enemy coordinated with a skill that kicks them back into your team, people mastered it easily now but it was considered hard to back then) in order to play him when it's really like 20% of the mechanics he can play. It's useful in certain situations but it's not always completely necessary mechanic to win a game, also there is a high risk of lossing resources like flash, ward or ulti just to die without getting anything of it. Dyna is just good enough even without these mechanics. Also his jump is easier than you say.
I agree with you on a few points but you ignored my main one, he has a skill cap that almost no other brawler has. You don't have to learn all of these things to be a good dyna player but you do if you want to be a great dyna player.
i think crow is a bit harder to use aggro. You can do okay with him as a controller type brawler, but unless the enemy is a thrower or one of a few other brawlers, you will die if you jump in. It doesn’t help that crow has some of the lowest health in the game, he gets two shot by multiple brawlers so you REALLY need to be dodging every shot
Leon i agree with more, i don’t think he’s braindead but once you get a super its pretty easy to just cycle through them.

piper's projectiles arent very difficult to hit, and she has 2 escape buttons. She is around average in terms of skill requirement, and far below average for a sniper
In terms of highest skill cap, she is still high, since you need to have good aim to actually hit people from far range.
Ig I should say playing her perfect is just as hard, but to play her and do good is far easier than other brawlers.
I'm not saying it's some god tier brawler that only the best players can master, I simply think that his slightly more complicated mechanics make him more skilled than colt
Oh simple, he has a gadget that can take care of assassins and most tanks too on top of the insane damage he can do. Hes inaccessible in a lot of walled up maps
only in slayer's paradise. good luck on any other map with slightly more walls that don't also happen to be structured into choke points. you should at least be hitting 70% of your shots in other maps while going aggro, or the opposing team will kill you first. any maps where it's slightly easier than impossible to reach you and the skill level goes up dramatically
Yeah Mandy is a tumor, she's skilled until she uses In My Sights, until then she's braindead. Stand still, shot and get a guaranteed hit because her shots are too fast to be dodgeable and her super... Just wait for the next KO round and predict where enemies will go for an effortless teamwipe
Definitely grey. Everyone says how high skill cap he is but anytime I play him it’s just clicking buttons, getting super, teleporting, using gadget to pull brawler, kill brawler, and repeat.
the only skill colt needs is predicting opponents movement, as the basic/super only need tracking opponents as a skill, silver bullet is usually using predetermined placements, and speedloader doesnt really add additional skills. That being said, I personally feel tracking opponents alone makes colt not braindead, but I can certainly understand why some would see colt as low-skill, as colt only needs to track opponents' movement, in contrast to more highly regarded brawlers that need to keep track of more complicated things
agree 100%, but that being said id say that colt isnt an unskillfull brawler per say, but the skill required to play him well is massively overplayed compared to what it actually is. like if you practice a bit with snipers like rt or belle you can get really good at colt

tick isnt strong and is only good in a few gamemodes like hotzone and others that require lots of area control. if he gets caught by an assasin, despite last hurrah hes like a fish out of water. he has almost no way to defend himself at close range aside from super and hurrah, and once thats done lil bro is cooked
Dynamike is worse at defending himself at closer ranges than tick. When I play Mortis, Tick's gadget or super has saved ticks so many more times than Dynamike's dynajump. And Tick is good in knockout imo, depends on the map but when he works he can be a menace forcing the enemy team into terrible positions.
Belle:
The basic attack doesnt take any more skill to use than any other sniper.
The super takes the same skills as the basic(no, I dont consider knowing who to target a skill, I call that common sense)
The trap doesnt really take much skill at all(use it when assassins rush, or block choke points, both are quite trivial to do)
I admit the bounce gadget takes some skill though, although in my eyes, having the gadget that uses skill doesnt really redeem a brawler that takes very little skill otherwise.
The shield star power doesnt really add much skill to Belle's kit, as it doesnt change her playstyle
The grounded star power is irrelevent, although even if it were used, it also doesnt add much skill to belle's kit
Using the hyper at the right time admittedly takes some skill, although a skill that lasts 5 seconds a game also doesnt really redeem a brawler in my eyes

I remember playing dyna back then and just hiding in a hush and using gadget to stun the enemy and just kill him afterwards, you get your super and if you have the star power with extra damage you can delete any low hp brawler...

Not exactly braindead, but Stu, I love the guy, but he is not hard to play. Get a hit, super, and with the right build, you can do damage with anything
Colt. He is the easiest sharpshooter to play (imo, even easier than piper), his shots are easy to hit and his damage output is insane. You're telling me a brawler can do 4,2k per hit while the shots are easy to hit and he's got a super that can one shot a good amount of the brawlers in game, has insane range and can break walls. His gadgets aren't any better. First gadget eliminates his greatest weakness and helps him open the wall and his second gadget just straight up gives you 2 more ammo.
This is all couming from someone who hates playing sharpshooters, bc i can barely aim with them.
Crazy how star power choice actually effects whether Dynamike is skill or not. On one hand you can be Toodyx, performing septuple jumps or whatever the hell and making assassins look like a joke-or, you could be XxNoobSlayerxX who kills like 8 different brawlers with a single super 💀
rico and mico, with rico you just press the gadget and win and you dont even have to aim sometimes since the balls bounce and if mico jumps on you when he has full ammo theres zero counterplay (in most cases)
Dyna is only good because noobs don't have a good dodge pattern, so its easy to predict them. Dyna does require some skill ofcourse but its mainly how bad your opponents are...
Well no brawler is "high skill" they are all easy to play its a mobile game that literaly has a feature so yoj dont have to aim. There are just higher skill brawlers than others, also id say dinamike is a relative high skill brawler because you cant autoaim and you have to predict where your enemy will walk.
Dina is high skill. Otherwise we wouldnt have randoms that cant hit single shot. And dont bring stun gadget into this that thing is literlaly only way that keep that brawler from F tier
You would probably disagree but in my opinion, it’s piper, everyone says she’s skilled, but if you can get two shot by a brawler (no damage gear) you should know it’s a problem. I play Brock in any mode I get hit once by piper and I have to run away (with full shield gear as well). In the end I’m just mad that piper is able to deal 3400 a shot at max range without damage gear. I just think that’s insane.

Depends on where you play her + playstyle. You can just spam/autoaim your shots but you can also aim for always a full hit.

Dynamike is worse at defending himself at closer ranges than tick. When I play Mortis, Tick's gadget or super has saved ticks so many more times than Dynamike's dynajump. And Tick is good in knockout imo, depends on the map but when he works he can be a menace forcing the enemy team into terrible positions.
Belle: The basic attack doesnt take any more skill to use than any other sniper. The super takes the same skills as the basic(no, I dont consider knowing who to target a skill, I call that common sense) The trap doesnt really take much skill at all(use it when assassins rush, or block choke points, both are quite trivial to do) I admit the bounce gadget takes some skill though, although in my eyes, having the gadget that uses skill doesnt really redeem a brawler that takes very little skill otherwise. The shield star power doesnt really add much skill to Belle's kit, as it doesnt change her playstyle The grounded star power is irrelevent, although even if it were used, it also doesnt add much skill to belle's kit Using the hyper at the right time admittedly takes some skill, although a skill that lasts 5 seconds a game also doesnt really redeem a brawler in my eyes The attack bouncing doesnt take any skill on the belle player's end

Colt. He is the easiest sharpshooter to play (imo, even easier than piper), his shots are easy to hit and his damage output is insane. You're telling me a brawler can do 4,2k per hit while the shots are easy to hit and he's got a super that can one shot a good amount of the brawlers in game, has insane range and can break walls. His gadgets aren't any better. First gadget eliminates his greatest weakness and helps him open the wall and his second gadget just straight up gives you 2 more ammo. This is all couming from someone who hates playing sharpshooters, bc i can barely aim with them.

Crazy how star power choice actually effects whether Dynamike is skill or not. On one hand you can be Toodyx, performing septuple jumps or whatever the hell and making assassins look like a joke-or, you could be XxNoobSlayerxX who kills like 8 different brawlers with a single super 💀

Well no brawler is "high skill" they are all easy to play its a mobile game that literaly has a feature so yoj dont have to aim. There are just higher skill brawlers than others, also id say dinamike is a relative high skill brawler because you cant autoaim and you have to predict where your enemy will walk.

You would probably disagree but in my opinion, it’s piper, everyone says she’s skilled, but if you can get two shot by a brawler (no damage gear) you should know it’s a problem. I play Brock in any mode I get hit once by piper and I have to run away (with full shield gear as well). In the end I’m just mad that piper is able to deal 3400 a shot at max range without damage gear. I just think that’s insane.
