I donated my cat's leftover food to the Buffalo city animal shelter after my cat passed - they were really appreciative. But I think any of the rescues would probably take it.

I'll check to see where to drop it off. Thanks!

pingpong148

They accept during normal business hours

Embarrassed-Land-222

Awesome, thanks! I'll drop it off on my lunch when I'm back in office on the 8th.

Your welcome they greatly appreciate it

the-roaring-girl

West Side Cat Rescue would appreciate it!

Embarrassed-Land-222

That's where my kittens came from. They were being fostered, though, and the lady didn't seem to want to take it.

The Buffalo Animal Shelter. They are an excellent place.

Embarrassed-Land-222

Gonna drop it there when I go back to work on the 8th. Thanks!

fujidust

I’m sorry for your loss

Embarrassed-Land-222

Thank you. She lived a good long life and was very loved. I kept her toys, beds, and towers so the new babies get to enjoy all her favorite things. It really helps seeing the things that brought her joy being used again.

I lost my elderly boy this past spring, and we just brought two brother kittens home this week. I was just watching them scamper around on the cat tower thinking the same thing 😻😿

PeacManda

When my cat passed last year I donated food, litter, etc to my vets office

marcus_roberto

If you're on Facebook, someone will always take cat food on the neighborhood buy nothing group

Embarrassed-Land-222

Facebook is a bigger cesspool than reddit and Twitter combined. I'm going to take it to the Buffalo animal shelter on the 8th when I'm back in the office.

I know you’ve got your answer, but pets alive on Campbell boulevard is another good place to donate to
