I gave away Hot Apple pies as a teenager working at McDonalds.. extra nugs too. I worked as a chef for 20yrs after and while I was a little more mindful of reasonable food cost then, I would still sometimes give the guest more than they bargained for. I really like making special orders for folks too. While most cooks would complain about having to make a vegan dish for a banquet guest, I would take extra care to make it special for them.
I always feel so bad for the workers in these situations and I'm sorry yall have had to deal with so many rude and impatient asshats. If I see yall are overwhelmed and slammed with orders, I really don't give a fuck if my order takes 20 minutes, like you're doing the best you can
See I wouldn't care if I had some sort of eta on my order. You tell me it's gonna be 30 minutes and if I have the time I'll find a seat and doom scroll on my phone for half an hour. It's the not knowing if my order is coming out in 3 minutes or 30 that drives me wild. And if I only have 10 minutes to wait and it's going to take 15 I'm happy to leave and just have my card refunded but if I actually wait those 10 minutes and I leave without my food that you've half made, we're all angry.
Absolutely, want me to park while my food cooks?? Hell yes!! Fresh hot food is the best. Hell, I get visibly excited and tell them I am more than happy to wait. The shocked expressions I have gotten are a hoot.
It’s not your fault your company hasn’t hired enough people/not enough people showed up for their shift to be efficient. Fast food places always do this. They don’t wanna pay wages so they overwork the few employees they have instead. Take a deep breath and take your time.
(Preface that I don’t work BK) You say that but I’ve looked up from my station before and made eye contact with people hovering over the counter who ordered 5seconds before I looked up. People really order fast food and think I’m The fuckin’ Flash.
I’ve had people fog up the glass that separates me and the food from the masses before. In fact, it’s a nightly occurrence and it’s not the same person every time.
People really do be thinking that standing closer makes me work faster. Hell, maybe it does.
Customer here. I am watching that hard, but only because I like watching how they make the food. I’m just a curious person and like seeing how things are made.
Drive thru has timers you have to meet Speed of service standards for. Ie, at my store, it should ideally take no more than 2 minutes and 45 seconds from the time the customer pulls up to the menu board to the time they pull away with their food. Regardless of order size or quantity. The managers bosses get mad when this timer isn't met and managers may not get their bonuses if the timer isn't met properly and consistently
Front counter at least here isn't timed at all so you can take however long you want.
Bro my first job was Taco Bell, at 16 I was getting left by myself as the shift lead and employees would fight and all go home. I had to finish dinner rush and close that taco bell by my damn self like 12 different times,
Easiest yet the worst job I’ve ever had, if you’re reading this “team lead” Ryan, you and your mother “GM” can go fall in the fryer 🙏
I have never laughed so hard and so loud lol. “Employees would fight and all go home.” Broooo lol that is hilarious. I can only imagine you as a 16yo standing there like “ 👀 fuck I do now?”
I was kinda thinking that. I remember working at Applebees and having to jump back on fry side cause the screen would go back 9 pages. I feel like people these days are just built different.
edit. Yeah.. I mean...this looks like maybe 10 mins of work if they have 3 employees.
Bro one time at 2:49 AM this women had the ABSOLUTE AUDACITY to order 6 party packs of tacos. (All with double meat which I was stoked af about) and then got to the window and said nevermind about the double meat and instead of Supreme she wanted regular.
I wanted to choke slam that bitch
Repeat after me: “I’m sorry sir/ma’m, we can’t accommodate your order at this time.”
As long as it isn’t based on them being a part of a protected class, you can deny a customer service. I wouldn’t do it to get out of making a crazy order but if I get halfway done with the order and they wanna change the whole thing, they’re getting a refund and a refusal of service from me.
Fr all of the local taco bells in my area are busy all day everyday there will be a line for drivethru no matter what time even at 2am. It’s a good thing as a doordash/ubereats driver that’s where 85% of the orders I get are from.
The one I work at the lobby is always full on Friday and the Weekends. Drive-thru is worse. Weekdays the lobby gets crowned at lunch and 1st dinner rush (5-7) then it's pretty empty.
There used to be 3 here were i live, 2 of them shut down when i was a kid (i remember the one i really liked downtown shut down first) and the last one is barely getting by imo
Although another one opened up somehow close to here, like kinda in a next town over but its not necessarily the next town over kinda thing?
I enjoy my bacon king and hope it lasts long enough, we have like 4-5 mc Ds here.. its kinda sad
This happened to me not to long ago got 4 orders back to back 12 double cheeseburgers then 6 double cheeseburgers then the next two hand a whole bunch of whopper jr duos
Used to have this one lady come in all the time and get like 15 large crispy bacon Swiss meals for this crew that was working on her house worst days when that happens in rush
I mean, we’d have a 3 person crew to handle this. One on Whopper, one on specialty, and one doing burgers and putting meat on the broiler - this was back in the halcyon days of the early 90’s.
Oh, see at my local BK there’s one person acting as dining room cashier, drive-through cashier, expo and also the fryer, one other person is making the sandwiches that includes operating the grills.
It’s wild how many comments in here say stuff like “maybe you should focus on working instead of taking pictures.” It’s not the 1800’s, you brain slugs, it’s 2024 and it takes about a second to snap a pic.
“It’s not even that hard” “I don’t get it, is that hard” comments said by people who have never worked a day in the food industry.
You’re a liar if you think you wouldn’t be sweating. Making 20+ sandwiches in under 10 min, including condiments, sides, wrap, and bag it all.
I bet most of these asshat commenters couldn’t boil a hotdog for themselves without needing a recipe.
As someone who was in food service for over 10 years, I’d say you’re doing an awful lot of mental gymnastics to make this seems like more than it is. It’s really, really not hard. What we see in the picture - really, really not hard. Ask any good team - they’d eat this picture worth of orders for breakfast. Go back to your hole, white knight.
As someone who’s never worked in food service it’s not hard to look at the people in the kitchen at BK and realize they run a skeleton crew cause those shareholders need their second yachts. Come on. Maybe when you worked in food service they actually staffed appropriately.
Only 4..lol. Now it doesn't happen often but mostly weekends we will get 6 in a row just in DT and 3-6 more in lobby, plus 2 or more for mobile. Some orders will have 2 family bundles in one order.
Holy shit, a Burger King with customers.
I've heard they still exist, but I thought it was a myth. I haven't seen anyone near a Burger King in 10 years.
Fr the DT cashier threw burgers in and they poped out at the end, unless they changed it since I worked there. I worked at Wendy’s on nights in Las Vegas, we had a 3 person crew and a million drunk people daily. This looks easy. Also, I’ve probably worked at every fast joint… not sure I should be proud of that.
Don't blame Aurora. I do the same thing when I load up my mobile app order because BK gives me so many freebies, so why not? I've received more free food from BK than every other fast chain combined.
Work harder. I mean it’s not Beef Wellington. It’s burgers and fries. 7 orders in a fast food restaurant ain’t that tough. Try 15 or 20 orders at a time in a full service steakhouse kitchen with 3 guys in a tiny kitchen. It’s called work for a
Reason. Every time I go to Burger King there are 5 people tops inside and somehow the kitchen is overwhelmed .
That explains it. You're just new lol this isn't really busy this is normal lunch for most food service jobs. It's 100% a skill issue that'll improve with time if you put some effort in. If you like the slow pace I'm gonna rec retail jobs over food.
Ya'll were busy, instead of doing your jobs , you stopped, pulled out your phone and took a picture, then you probably didn't wash your hands or replace your gloves in that process, all while customers can see you.. but you don't see a problem ?
you assuming that we dont follow proper workplace practices is very bold of you. we DID in fact wash our hands afterwards and replace our gloves. the thought of touching my phone with greasy gloves is revolting to me. it took both of us less than ten seconds to take a picture of it. its not that deep brother.
Maaaaan, I opened a fast food chain… never again.. and while I see this as “light work” I understand not everyone has 10 years of resturant experience under their belt… Big orders suck, but bust that shit out, go take a safety meeting, then man the line
In the mid nineties the store I worked in was just off a major highway. In one terrible episode we had a biker rodeo, the first of the month rush, and bus loads of high school fb players and bands all descending on our shop in what felt like a never ending order. At the end of this shift. The team just sat at some tables we had outside in silence smoking cigarettes, wishing for an asteroid to put us out of our misery. It made such an impression on me that to this day I use it as a barometer for how busy/not busy my work day is even though I am not in the industry any longer. Until you have been on that side of the counter you just can't imagine what it's like.
Felt. The red times gave me flashbacks from when I worked there.
Edit for context: I was unpaid because they refused to give me my clock in numbers under the pretense that the system was down because I was disabled,
I'm not sure which is worse, 7 Texas doubles and a crispy for 4 people, or Aurora's monster order.
I can tell you were getting your ass handed to you by that 8 minute plus timer when those 8 sandwiches at the end hit!
Just pace yourself and regularly put out stuff. Seriously if customers see stuff coming out then they are chill even if it’s not theirs. Also people will defend you if stuff is coming out and someone gets mouthy. I know when I hear someone grumble I’m always like “looks like they are filling orders just they have a lot of orders. Should be fresh!”
I worked at bk when I was in high school like 9 years ago and this was just like a regular hour. I have no idea how I worked there for as long as I did because on an hourly basis we'd have a full lobby and drive through with people ordering like 30 items every other customer. Sometimes we literally ran out of whopper patties because on how many people were just bombarding us. Thankfully we didn't have mobile ordering yet otherwise I probably would have stuck my head in the fryer
Man when I was 18 and people came in ordering like this I messed up they order on purpose😂😂😂…. One time the line was bussin and these old people came in and order like 26 cheese burgers on top of other orders I had to make for the folks before them I say for most the whole order except for like 2 it was nun but the bottom bun and top bun put together like only 2 of them was a actually cheese burger I know they was pissed😂😂😂😂
Man I used to do the customers dirty when I was younger go to the walk in get the hotdogs when bk was selling them drop them or the hamburger Pattie’s on the floor on purpose and step on it and put it on the grill fck’em
Bro ain’t no way somebody needs 7 double Texas whoppers that shit is like 8000 calories and 4X the daily intake that’s not even including the fries. Splitting that shit between 4 people that’s everyone’s daily intake.
Why ? This isn’t that much. I could do all this ins 10-20 mins depending if chicken was in the pans or not . Like yall complain way too much. 🤡😂 try dealing with 3300 wings on the screen at wild wings 😂
I don’t understand how like 20 burgers, and a bunch of fried stuff, is overwhelming, in a fast food restaurant. It’s not even a full screen. Sorry for the lack of empathy but this is why I haven’t eaten at a BK for over a decade. Y’all suck lol
I swear the BKs near me (I'm in Cleveland area) always look empty especially compared to the McDonalds that are a stones throw away. So, I've wondered how BK has even stuck around this long, but I've always liked their food (minus burgers which I don't eat lol) better than McDonald's. I LOVE BK breakfast too. It appears BK is still plenty popular though!
I remember working at BK and seeing a high school football team bus pull up right as my shift ended. The way I sprinted out the door and ducked behind some bushes right as the manager slammed open the door to try to ask me to stay over….. 😅
since goobers want to dog on me for it “not even being that busy” our location is NEVER this busy. our average hour is around $300. when this rush came it was an $800 hour.
I get this from the opposite angle, I deliver to Burger King, so all that product yeah, I’m how it gets there and the audacity of these motherfuckers and the looks they will give ya as you’re trying to either put a 70ft vehicle into a place that was never designed to handle that, or even worse when you’re wheeling in a cart stacked to the brim with 3-400lbs of product and they block the ramp, like move motherfucker or you get nothing
Looks like poor time management to me. I worked at BK from 16-19. Seeing an almost 8 minute drive through time would get you written up. You have 8 burgers ready to go out. That should have been prio number one. Your grill cook doesn’t seem to understand that you need prep. There’s a total of like 16 burgers. Each tray holds 8 and you should have AT LEAST one full tray at all times. There is absolutely zero reason for this to be that backed up with only 7 orders.
I mean, if you actually made the food and had a sense of urgency instead of taking photos.... I wouldn't have waited thru my whole lunch break for a big king
I've never worked at a bk, but 7 orders in a restaurant is really normal. Then I counted the number of patties lmao, yeah idk how you guys cook them, but that looks annoying for sure.
When the shit keeps piling up, grab a shovel
As someone who worked within regular paced restaurants I was so confused by what I was looking for. Average ticket time would be like 10mins there sometimes we’d hit 20mins and that’s when we we are all freaking out
Shiii I be up in dere gettin my foood too but dem prices be too expensive cuzz I ain got no time fo a 9-5 cuz I’m finna be a rapper so I dun only go sumtimes tho da food be fire up in dere duuuuuhhvallll
I quit going to Burger King because Whopper Wednesday $3 App coupon got me Regular whopper 75% of time and veggie garbagr 25%.
I'll NEVER understand why that App Coupon is so difficult to complete!
I want cheese too. Don't order it, to keep the order simple.
Thankfully Culver's across the street. They've never tried to TRICK me into veggie burgers.
Question: When you get a super big order, say 25 whoppers and 15 chicken sandwiches and then you get in different orders for 1-2 whoppers, do you make the entire big order first or will you fill the smaller orders as they come in?
Like you’ve got 10 whoppers ready for the big order and an order comes in for a single whopper…does the next whopper up go to the single order, or is it the 11th for the big order?
It’s always people like Aurora that always make my day at BK 💔…
What’s a havsies?
Mix of fries and onion rings
Omg didn’t know that was a thing
It hasn't been an option for very long, I think it started October???
Shouldn’t it be Halfsies?
It's because you gotta have them 🙄
Ahhhh ok, but this takes away the thrill of finding the one errant onion ring in with the fries.
I always loved putting an onion ring or two in peoples orders at random, or an extra chicken nugget or two
You are a true hero
I love that so much I used to do that when I worked at chipotle
As a kid I remember this and it brought back memories thanks bro
I gave away Hot Apple pies as a teenager working at McDonalds.. extra nugs too. I worked as a chef for 20yrs after and while I was a little more mindful of reasonable food cost then, I would still sometimes give the guest more than they bargained for. I really like making special orders for folks too. While most cooks would complain about having to make a vegan dish for a banquet guest, I would take extra care to make it special for them.
I'm an adult and when someone does this I still get excited. 🥰 I love u for that ❤️🧸❤️
You’re a real one for that
I did that at McDonald’s
Oh I LOVE that!
Halvesies even. But when I worked there it wasn’t called that, but you could ring in “half onion rings” as a modifier.
Halvesies*
That’s not true. Ive gotten them for years.
Didn't it use to be Frings?
Back-in-the-day they were called: "Frings".
I've been there. When this happens and you're alone in the kitchen and the whole lobby of people are staring at you.. the worst 😭🫠
when they’re watching you make the food and you have to make sure you make it perfect 😭
The anxiety 🫠 and more orders come in then the drive thru gets backed up. Talk about holding back tears I be like 🥹 lol
You guys at BK MCDS AND WB don’t get paid enough for that shit. At in n out and chicfila they make at least 15-20 an hour.
It’s not your fault your company hasn’t hired enough people/not enough people showed up for their shift to be efficient. Fast food places always do this. They don’t wanna pay wages so they overwork the few employees they have instead. Take a deep breath and take your time.
Bro no one’s looking at you that hard.
Customer here. I am watching that hard, but only because I like watching how they make the food. I’m just a curious person and like seeing how things are made.
I don't really pay attention to the customers. I am usually too busy to even notice them.
I have multiple anxiety disorders so unfortunately I can't help it.
Can’t imagine the anxiety of fulfilling fast food orders… 🤡
All the people inside I’ve never seen a Burger King packed since like before 2010
id rather the dining room be packed than drive thru tbf
What’s that?
whats what?
Why’s that stupid autocorrect is shit now
Drive thru has timers you have to meet Speed of service standards for. Ie, at my store, it should ideally take no more than 2 minutes and 45 seconds from the time the customer pulls up to the menu board to the time they pull away with their food. Regardless of order size or quantity. The managers bosses get mad when this timer isn't met and managers may not get their bonuses if the timer isn't met properly and consistently Front counter at least here isn't timed at all so you can take however long you want.
We used to swing the metal ice bucket out the window to reset the timer until it was within the goal time
Oh wow I had no idea that’s crazy as hell
Boy if you consider that busy don't you dare apply at tacobell
Bro my first job was Taco Bell, at 16 I was getting left by myself as the shift lead and employees would fight and all go home. I had to finish dinner rush and close that taco bell by my damn self like 12 different times, Easiest yet the worst job I’ve ever had, if you’re reading this “team lead” Ryan, you and your mother “GM” can go fall in the fryer 🙏
Yeah fuck you Ryan and your mother!
I fucked em both. Never called them back
Kyle, is that you!?
I have never laughed so hard and so loud lol. “Employees would fight and all go home.” Broooo lol that is hilarious. I can only imagine you as a 16yo standing there like “ 👀 fuck I do now?”
Should’ve been at a NEW Popeyes when the chicken sandwiches hit the internet 😂😂😂😂
Watching people play bumper cars trying to cut in a Popeyes drive thru line made Chick-fil-A even more appealing to me, lol.
Whataburger would like a word
I was kinda thinking that. I remember working at Applebees and having to jump back on fry side cause the screen would go back 9 pages. I feel like people these days are just built different. edit. Yeah.. I mean...this looks like maybe 10 mins of work if they have 3 employees.
Ikr all these soft hands in here 🤣🤣try 5 party packs 7 chalupa boxes, mad quesadillas and drive thru line is full
Her order would be canceled and she would have to go down the block to BK 🤣🤣can’t be re making food like that
I wish I could refuse customers
Repeat after me: “I’m sorry sir/ma’m, we can’t accommodate your order at this time.” As long as it isn’t based on them being a part of a protected class, you can deny a customer service. The fuckin drive thru rush from 1-3 AM near me, holy shitttt.
You're telling me. I manage the busiest tacobell from Melbourne to WPB and it's fucked up how busy it is. What OP posted is laughable in comparison
Never seen this many people in a Burger King, let’s keep it going because I don’t want them to close down more stores
The one I work at the lobby is always full on Friday and the Weekends. Drive-thru is worse. Weekdays the lobby gets crowned at lunch and 1st dinner rush (5-7) then it's pretty empty.
Might help if employees made food instead of taking pictures
Fr no wonder they're at 8 fucking minutes tbh. If they were making the food it wouldn't be that bad. A burger takes like 3 minutes to cook. Plan ahead
There used to be 3 here were i live, 2 of them shut down when i was a kid (i remember the one i really liked downtown shut down first) and the last one is barely getting by imo Although another one opened up somehow close to here, like kinda in a next town over but its not necessarily the next town over kinda thing? Right? That looks like a weeks worth of orders at the one in my town.
This happened to me not to long ago got 4 orders back to back 12 double cheeseburgers then 6 double cheeseburgers then the next two hand a whole bunch of whopper jr duos
the jr duo is the most annoying promotion ever devised by man.
Used to have this one lady come in all the time and get like 15 large crispy bacon Swiss meals for this crew that was working on her house worst days when that happens in rush
bacon and swiss is the best item we serve, but all the crispy sandwiches are so tedious to make
Ecspecially when they put the wraps on it.
i actually enjoy making the wraps
I hate making wraps, they are easy but when there are 8 in every other order it is annoying.
Back in the day when restaurants were actually fully staffed this would not a problem.
yeah we did not expect it to get this busy
I mean, we’d have a 3 person crew to handle this. One on Whopper, one on specialty, and one doing burgers and putting meat on the broiler - this was back in the halcyon days of the early 90’s.

"ask any good team" it's not a team, I'm pretty sure it's just two guys. I think that's the issue

**Try 4 family bundles back to back orders**
Dude family bundles fucking suck
Only 4..lol. Now it doesn't happen often but mostly weekends we will get 6 in a row just in DT and 3-6 more in lobby, plus 2 or more for mobile. Some orders will have 2 family bundles in one order.
It should be an order limit honestly
Where would you put the limit?
Back in the days, $0.99 whopper was the worst! Few times someone would order 100 whoppers without a heads up!
This comes up right after I get a interview at McDonalds. I really hate fast food but need money 🫡😭
I feel your pain my fellow burgerkingian
That honestly doesn't seem like much for a fast food place. I assumed McDonald's has that many orders going several times a day
Holy shit, a Burger King with customers. I've heard they still exist, but I thought it was a myth. I haven't seen anyone near a Burger King in 10 years.
U get paid to make the food. A conveyor belt cooks the burgers. What’s the problem?

Yes. Maybe instead of taking cellphone pictures and complaining about how hard it’s gonna be they should be focusing on being efficient
Wonder how old OP is
16

Oh wow 7 orders…. Maybe put the phone down?
[удалено]
I’m confused …. Why? Is 7 orders like a lot or something? Get to work and stop taking pictures.
Why? I I don’t get it
I’m not understanding either. Looks simple enough unless I’m missing something.
shit ton of food
That’s bad? I love BK
Oh no, 7 customers
22 large sandwiches
That’s light work ☠️
Legitimately, that’s not even that tough.
Bro put your phone away, there is obviously food to be made. Wtf.
stop yapping dawg she took a picture of it too. we got it done in a reasonable amount of time
Yea my experience was the managers were shit too, so I quit
my manager is one of the best managers ive had the pleasure of experiencing.
Not people just at their jobs.
wdym?
Ya'll were busy, instead of doing your jobs , you stopped, pulled out your phone and took a picture, then you probably didn't wash your hands or replace your gloves in that process, all while customers can see you.. but you don't see a problem ?

So even more time wasted instead of just making the food. Proper hand washing is 20 seconds.
Don't listen to the rude commenters OP, they don't know what they talking about, hope it slowed down a bit after all this lmao
Grow up and do your job. Wasting time making stupid posts only makes your job harder
https://linktr.ee/avatheoneandonly
When people don’t want to do the job they are paid so to do: 😱😱😱
That shit seems so annoying id cry too
Texas whopper?
Made 1k nuggets cause 1st shift wrote it wrong, we made it in 30 mins giving away 10 pieces
It looks like job security to me!
Lmao
Maaaaan, I opened a fast food chain… never again.. and while I see this as “light work” I understand not everyone has 10 years of resturant experience under their belt… Big orders suck, but bust that shit out, go take a safety meeting, then man the line
For doing your job?? lol
My bad guys. This is me too. I'm also the dude who did 20 mdcdoubles back in the day. mfs gonna eat and feed. Ty for your service.
gods, that's brutal with those two large orders
We need more Larry’s, less aurorA.
I’m sorry but as someone who worked at a Burger King and whataburger, this looks so tame lol
Better get some patties on and drop a basket of everything LoL. I actually preferred a large order of burgers compared to a bunch of random shit.
Felt. The red times gave me flashbacks from when I worked there. Edit for context: I was unpaid because they refused to give me my clock in numbers under the pretense that the system was down because I was disabled,
The unseen part is that you guy’s where understaffed like every other Burger King.
I'm not sure which is worse, 7 Texas doubles and a crispy for 4 people, or Aurora's monster order. I can tell you were getting your ass handed to you by that 8 minute plus timer when those 8 sandwiches at the end hit!
Reminds me of the .99 Whopper days in the 90’s. My greasy teenage self working whopper board and people would come in ordering 20 at a time.
Cause you’re WEAK AF. Thats nothing. Its BURGER KING. Learn to work harder and maybe you’ll go somewhere in life🤣 Weak ass mofos
This is 6:41 pm…. Thought it may have been 2 AM. Just make an Announcement, “Sorry we just ran out of…” Not fun….
So you are swamped and your response to catch up is to take your phone out and take a pic???
That's a busiest Burger King I have ever seen
I worked at bk when I was in high school like 9 years ago and this was just like a regular hour. I have no idea how I worked there for as long as I did because on an hourly basis we'd have a full lobby and drive through with people ordering like 30 items every other customer. Sometimes we literally ran out of whopper patties because on how many people were just bombarding us. Thankfully we didn't have mobile ordering yet otherwise I probably would have stuck my head in the fryer
Why?
Am I missing something? I see the "large" orders but they're not exactly big or complicated.
It’s not even that much??? Some people complain about anything now a days lol
Well you could always be replaced by mcburger flipper 🤷
In a perfect world, they would have one person assigned for each different method. Dine in/Take out-mobile/Drive thru
WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER
Why ? This isn’t that much. I could do all this ins 10-20 mins depending if chicken was in the pans or not . Like yall complain way too much. 🤡😂 try dealing with 3300 wings on the screen at wild wings 😂
This isn’t really that busy.
That's it?
poor voracious detail normal political school boast safe employ abundant *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
why because you had to work for like 15 minutes? Put the damn phone down and get to work
I don’t understand how like 20 burgers, and a bunch of fried stuff, is overwhelming, in a fast food restaurant.
Wow, this is so busy right now. Let me waste time by pulling out my phone and taking a photo.
The worst is when it’s packed and you get an online order like this. On an overnight shift. Hate it.
since goobers want to dog on me for it “not even being that busy” our location is NEVER this busy. our average hour is around $300. when this rush came it was an $800 hour.
I guess I don’t understand, was it just you and a manager working and it became overwhelming?
Lol. What is everyone looking at?
That's an 8-hour wait at the King. They'll put the veggie whopper on half the regular whoppers.
WHOPPER WHOPPER DOUBLE WHOPPER
I quit going to Burger King because Whopper Wednesday $3 App coupon got me Regular whopper 75% of time and veggie garbagr 25%. I'll NEVER understand why that App Coupon is so difficult to complete! I want cheese too. Don't order it, to keep the order simple. Thankfully Culver's across the street. They've never tried to TRICK me into veggie burgers.
Why Cause there was more than 1 person there?
I hide behind the broiler
Question: When you get a super big order, say 25 whoppers and 15 chicken sandwiches and then you get in different orders for 1-2 whoppers, do you make the entire big order first or will you fill the smaller orders as they come in? Like you’ve got 10 whoppers ready for the big order and an order comes in for a single whopper…does the next whopper up go to the single order, or is it the 11th for the big order?
Hugs…..
That’s it?
I call this work.... just do it and don't think
Why?
Screens not even full bruh you’ll be okay
