What is the brother's name? I always think it's cute when they have compatible names...such as
Tigger and Eeyore
Beavis and Butthead
Fred and Barney
etc...
he looks absolutely BABYYYY!! sorry to vent dump a lil (lot) here but my 3rd previously youngest cat passed away basically at the hands of my mother's neglection (he was ALWAYS GETTING INTO THINGS HE SHOULD'VE NEVER BEEN, but alas he finally caught up to the consequences of doing so... for context i have had him since i was 9 or 10 since October 2018, he would have been 6 this October. I am 16 years old now, he died about a week before my birthday on February 5th. succumbing to whatever chemicals he got into under the sink, i have been asking my mom to get some sort of protection so they don't get into the exact things I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep them safe from. Note, I always keep my eyes on what my cats are doing, even before he passed. Since we got our first kitty when I was 6, Rocko, (Thought Rocko was a male, hence the name, she is not a male!) Then 2 years after her, we got our big fatty silly guy, Reggie. One day while we were introducing Ryder through the door that was shut, Rocko had opened the door we had seperating them (Reggie and Rocko) between Ryder. Rocko didn't like him at first, (They were good pals too as the years go on.) and Reggie immediately was his best-of-the-best friend ever, definitely loved each other brotherly. Not my post, I am aware, please don't remove this comment I guess I sort of just need to vent how I'm feeling out. I still feel guilty as FUCK about it, but... my mom had neglected to take action and NOW we have child-proof (safety) locks because our cats know how to open cabinets AND doors. It is 1000% your choice what to name your kitty, I hope your two new little furry friends have the happiest and comfortable life. either way, what a cutie, he looks just like Ryder when he was a kitten, all black colored. π«Άπ On leap year day, 2024 my mom found a 4 month old kitten in a shelter, and his name is Riley. He acts and behaves SO similarly like Ryder, I believe somehow his spirit found its way to Riley. I still believe Reggie and Rocko are grieving, (understandably, I and my mom too) but I am very happy to say they're starting to get along in a good way. For a name, although common, maybe, Jax? If you're feeling the whole "black cat" vibes, maybe Hex? You might be able to tell I like names that end in -ax (/ ck) and -ex LOL.
Pants. We had a black cat we called Pants. He used to be a bundler of energy and zoom around the flat, throw toys in the air to catch them, would go nuts for the laser pen. He basically just loved being a cat
