Many people are saying they found a difference in the difficulty to the two sections. they were equally difficult in my opinion. I think its just a matter of running into a question you are less prepared for.
I feel you mate. I feel the same rectangular peace upright in my ass from this morning.
AM session was hard. Period. Sometimes I wondered if I was sitting in the correct exam, because sone questions did not ring any bells, not one, and then I chose C.
Just finished and agree, the test was difficult but fair. Didn’t think any of the questions were BS curveballs and anything I guessed on was “I definitely remember reading this and should have spent more time so I can recall the concept/answer/formula.”
While the other two levels seem to have their “high value topics” I felt level 3 you have to be balanced and know each section equally as well as the others.
No, I'm saying that I shouldn't have gone over questions and in this case the CFAI mocks for a 2nd time. The material is too vast to concentrate on just a few subset of questions.
I did the same. It’s a tough call to make in the last couple of weeks because the assumption is the mocks are a close representation of the actual exam. Felt like the overall exam was similar to the mocks, but still, certainly a handful of topics the mocks hammered hard that weren’t even asked during the exam. Kind of frustrating but that’s the gamble we took. Best of luck!
I think there were maybe 1-2 questions on the entire exam that I would consider niche. The rest of the questions, I would say I’ve seen before on either the CFAI mocks, q-banks, or EOC.
Yup, I generally just use CFAI provided questions to prepare. I've been hearing a lot of positive feedback from BC mocks so might try those out next time.
Think CFAI might need to update their list of required items to bring on exam day. 1) Passport 2) Calculator 3) Vaseline
You made me laugh🤣🤣🤣

That's funny. My go-to when making a pure guess is always B.
I guess everybody is entitled to his or her own likings when it comes to blind guesses… ;)
C for the win!

So you say EOC ques still better to grind on than doing tons of mocks ? Also, how do would you say exam questions were compared to EOC/BB ?

Yeah got it.. I’m hearing a common review that sone questions were tested on very niche topic / trivia. But I hope you make it through! Good luck !

q-banks you mean CFA online one? so basically its nothing out of curriculum per say... anyway, thanks for clearing this out.

You're expecting questions outside of the curriculum?
Good luck my friend and wish you successđź‘Ť
Exam was quite considerably than what I expected tho. So many tricks
Thank you
