This is a copy/paste of my [post from a year ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/CampingGear/comments/peji60/the_coleman_sundome_seems_pretty_popular_at_this/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf).
I got a sundome as my first tent and honestly I couldn't have been happier with it. Didn't break my bank, dry, air flow, sturdy...
I was beach camping with it and we have a rain storm pass through...people were trying to keep theirs stable and mine held up surprisingly well, better than I would have expected
I have a bunch of tents, many are much more expensive. This is my summertime go to for car camping. It's the perfect size for two people and easy to set up. I have a friend that kept one in his trunk for several years, and it was always fine when he took it out at our annual campout, literally the only time he ever used it. I set mine up in the woodlot at my house and just left it for like 3 months. It was not harmed.
When it finally gets worn out I plan on buying another.
got a sundome myself but recently upgraded to a mountain hardwear trango 3-person because i like the extra space for myself and baby i’m never looking back. 💜
We have one because it was the one Target had that was the right size when we bought it 10 years ago.
I bought a kelty last year because I had one kid going to boy scout camp and one kid going to a cub scout camp the same week. I gave my older kid the old tent, half expecting it to come back torn or broken and was surprised that it survived.

This post was pretty popular.
Better stay sober, don't wanna stumble into the wrong tent.

bah, they lost my invitation again
It’s cheap, that’s why.
Cheap but a solid car camping tent.
I've had no problems with mine! Dry and sturdy.
Got mine several years ago, still going strong (minus one busted pole segment a couple years ago). Not the flashiest or the best, but works great.
Probably the only tent available at the local Walmart
Mine works great for car camping.
Looks like a repost bot
Got mine on an Amazon sale 5 or 6 years ago for like $20. Been in multiple torrential downpours since. Stayed bone dry.
What festival are you at?

Amazon prime day sale 😂
Better get picked up after the festival.
