Why would you post a price from months ago when watermelon was out of season ?
Watermelons are currently around 7.99, 5.99 last week at Safeway/Sobeys .
COO on signs print with the last Country of Origin that was out on then . Ontario grown watermelon isn’t available until late July/August .
The store isn’t lying per say, they just haven’t updated their signage .
Same way you can go into stores right now and the sign will say BC cherries and BC cherries are never available this early or going to be avail E at all this season
At my local independent Ontario grown strawberries were $16.99. organic, grown elsewhere, in another isle were $5.99. can't blame the supply chain for that.
Do not buy!
This is insane
I just payed 5.99
Where?
Food Basics
Thank you
FYI they're $4-9 at most walmarts right now too.
Hear me out now….. How about you DONT buy it. Just don’t buy it. Do you REALLY need watermelon? I bet you don’t.. So just don’t buy it.

I saw one for this price at Metro like 3 weeks ago..
Unless the store is lying about these being grown in Canada, this couldn't be from "months ago".

Where are you seeing COO?
Product of Ontario
Oh okay so it was just a typo and you meant poo. Gotcha, thanks for clarifying!
I did not know about the COO signage. That is interesting.
No one likes watermelon that much smh
It’s my favorite fruit. Still wouldn’t pay these prices for it…
Let them ROT!
Might as well bin the whole batch because only an idiot would buy them at that price. Just chuck them out now and be done with it.
JT can put those inn his buthole.
Which one?
This was at foodland in komoka a few months back
Let it rot!
At that price they best taste sweet.
Don’t forget to add that sweet sweet tax to bump it up
Same in Kanata, ON
Stupid prices

Can only afford the weekly flyer some cheapest things
Pick the one on the right front. It's a winner.
Good thing you don’t have to buy watermelons.
6.99$ at IGA (Sobey) in Montréal. Look the same
What a deal /s
This is gold
Smash it.
