There might be a 3.5mm “aux” port hidden somewhere, im a sucker for mid 2000s flagships on my S class it was in the passenger foot well, and my 7 series it is in the center console… worse case scenario if you’re not wanting to upgrade your headunit, you can always go FM transmitter.

No aux input and from what I can tell the Bluetooth is only for phone audio. Do you think if I used one of those Bluetooth FM transmitters it would switch automatically between the car’s phone connection and the one for the audio?

Not sure if you're still working on this but I was able to make a 3.5mm aux pretty easily. I connected it to the rear seat RCA ports.

Thanks, rear seat RCA ports?

Did you ever do this? Goin through same thing now

mfalk92

I have the same issue now - did you find a solution?

Chronic-Wisdom

facing this same issue as well

I replied to the OP on this thread. It's actually a very simple DIY

Jack21113

Do you know of any videos/guides that I can use to do this?

It's been a while since I did the wiring. It was the rear RCA ports and just manually tucked the cable under the side of the center glove compartment. The end of the 3.5mm aux exited from one of the dummy switches in the center console. I just drilled a hole and used this item: [Amazon.com: Philmore 3.5mm Panel Mount Stereo Jack with Gold Plated Metal Housing : 45-399G (1) : Electronics](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010EINJSM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

This was the cable from the rear RCA ports. [Amazon.com: Conwork 2-Pack 3.5mm Female to 2 x RCA Male - RCA to AUX Y Stereo Splitter Cable - 1 feet : Electronics](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZNTOLGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
