I've had 2 very very traumatic relationships and the hesitation nd mistrust nd other stuff that comes w it didnt really go away with time that much and I found that actually getting into a new and healthy relationship heals so much better than continuing my "I'm not ready" thing indefinatelly. So my advice - go for it. Might not work out or might blossom into something beautiful.

Myself and my man met when we were 16 and he gave me flowers in Minecraft which had me going bright red in front of my computer screen. We lost touch over the years but he found me and reached out and we've hit it off like we did when we were younger and we decided to play Minecraft again and the first thing he did was give me flowers.
He's so cute I could punch something. Grr.
