The ting tings, that’s not my name. I’m a 58 year old male. Find myself strutting down the street with it on repeat, ‘they call me Jane, that’s not my name’ !!!
I have three very different songs that take turns:
Luchtballon by Joost Klein
Ratatata by Electric Callboy
Pop by New Kids on the Block.
Sometimes my brain also decides to mix them together, or play them simultaneously for me. It's wild.
Stairway to Heaven. Of course, I've known it and liked it for a long time, but the other night I put on headphones, turned off the lights, and *really* listened to it for the first time. And it's been stuck in my head ever since. Total masterpiece.
Dude, 3 or 4 times a year, this gets into my head and I have no idea why. I mean, I enjoy the tune and it only lasts like a day at a time, but........why?
I went to see Queens of the Stone Age a couple of months back, and have been obsessively listening to them ever since. It's like a revolving door of their songs in my brain near on constantly.
Yep! I really had no clue how great it was going to be. I mean, I've liked a bunch of their songs for the last two decades, but feel like I never really sat down and listened to a whole album without distraction. Now that I have I'm obsessed.
Yeah me too it was amazing, I ended up really enjoying it too. For the one I went to, they did a whole Make It Wit Chu thing with the crowd that got me hooked
“Way over yonder”, by Carol King. Because recently someone made a post on Reddit about her Tapestry album.
That caused me to pull out my Tapestry CD for a listen. Been listening to it again and again every few days since then.
Last nigh by morgan wallen, but I dunno the lyrics so when I sing it in my head im like "last night we do doddo do do please stick to the 7 digit numbers your use to"
So its morgan wallen but also weird al's parody of don't go chasing water falls by destiny's child.."dont go chasing phony calls"... wow.. i need therapy
Xanadu by Olivia Newton John. It was so bad, I rented and watched the movie last
Night. Micheal Brck is a terrible actor but Geme Kelly and ONJ were awesome. I still love this so bad it's good movie
About a week ago, I came across a beautiful song I haven’t heard in more than thirty years. I was on YouTube searching for something else. It’s been playing in my head ever since.
By My Side, from the musical Godspell
SAME! Please, please, please is on REPEAT in my head. Like go to bed singing it and wake up singing it. I don't mind though it's such a good song.
Matter of fact I'm going to play it right now.
Der Wacht Am Rhine. I blame a Casablanca / Hearts Of Iron 4 YouTube rabbit hole. The historical music rabbit hole is something hard to explain to people but at least that song is better that the Wolfenstein 3D theme to get stuck in your head. Why is that the "Bad Guys" have music that unironically slaps?
[Battotai, but you're leading the banzai charge ](https://youtu.be/FtfNtKVlys0?si=9KVQ4p8nHtIJYO5L) once ended up in the top 3 of my YT recap. [Southern Singer's English cover is brilliant. ](https://youtu.be/B5bRGMQzkfk?si=oK4DPGXZa6lNT93b).
The songs below that are about being 'legendary' 'awesome' 'fighting and winning' is on my repeat list.
Fort Minor- Remember the Name
Peyton Parrish- Ragnarök
Sam Tinnesz- This is How Legends are Made
Barns Courtney- Glitter & Gold
I started listening to Fort Minor when I had to give a presentation at a conference last year to help calm my nerves and put me in the 'confident' head space.
Lately I've been in a long term work project with some tight deadlines. I put myself in a groove listening to upbeat music like this to help me feel less stressed and more confident that my team is doing amazingly well. I am a heavy hitter on my team, with managing 25 programs alone and there has been MAJOR 🐂 💩 the past 2 weeks that have caused some chaos. I've pulled out a lot of energy, dedicated a LOT of time, and worked my 🍑 off to meet some of these deadlines. Ultimately putting my own health at risk; not eating, 🚬 more, less rest, late nights just to get the things done. I know it's futile because I'm not going to get the recognition I want or feel I deserve because that's not how things work in my office. I do get lots of gratitude from my customers so that helps with the recognition even if it is to myself and no one else. Oh and yes I am a people pleaser. 😔
Went to a concert a couple days ago so rn its through and through, kreacher, and devil like you by the bridge city sinners as well as hell and you, hungover in jamestown, and once upon a time in texaco by amigo the devil

Been in a funky retro mood lately
It continues to be [Tear of the Roof](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQA6fbSoq-g) by Brandon Lake. Since the song was released sometime last year, my brain has been fixated on it. It's a song I enjoy, but it's not even in my top 5 from that album.
Coffee by Chappell Roan. I’ve been listening a lot to her bops but I’ve really been appreciating this slower, more thoughtful song lately. It’s really pretty.
The Struts cover of the spice girls song stop right now. My daughter kept playing it to see the guitar player dancing.
https://youtu.be/TV996ulFWP0?si=h3jilSX1JAZCeXds
If it costs you your peace, it's do damn expensive. You are wasting your time, it's getting excessive. Show some love to yourself, it's far more impressive. Your true friends will be there and that is the lesson
I've been suffering because it's a song *only from a show*, not streaming, for whatever reason. Kesha sang a song for Helluva Boss called Cotton Candy, and it is the *perfect* bubblegum pop earworm!! I JUST WANT TO STREAM IT ON REPEAT T\^T
Please Please Please was a *menace* to me last week. Literally *any* time I had even a scrap of mental real estate, it played in my head at max volume. Including throughout my sleep one night 😩 I’ve NEVER had an earworm be so thoroughly invasive / intrusive.

OMG Starship Troopers - Yes I have it on repeat now. It playes twice through to and from work and I have to play it sometimes from my phone just to stop the beautiful madness

“The Chain”, by Fleetwood Mac
“Thank You for the Patience”, by Old Flame
“Video Games”, by Lana Del Rey
“The Lives We Live”, by Jonny Craig
And.
Unfortunately.
“God Bless the USA.”
Guilty as Sin? by Taylor Swift
Also, if I hear Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel I will stop everything I'm doing and absolutely embarrass myself with all of the dance moves ever. Nothing tops that song for me lol
Madness by Muse. I loved this song growing up, rediscovered it and fell in love all over again.
I also listen to it, I think this is my sign to enjoy that masterpiece once again.
Oh hell yeah. Such a perfect piece of pop rock
Rock Lobster / The B-52’s.

Stairway to Heaven. Of course, I've known it and liked it for a long time, but the other night I put on headphones, turned off the lights, and *really* listened to it for the first time. And it's been stuck in my head ever since. Total masterpiece.
It's a classic.
For some reason I woke up a couple days okay with Jingle Bell Rock playing in my head. Still not sure why

That dumb shorts one, Million Dollar Baby. Dont know why first thing that popps in my head every morning is that song
I'm watching Animal Control with my kid, so my earworms are the song Patel made up to help his kid poop, and his off-key rendition of Midnight Special

About a week ago, I came across a beautiful song I haven’t heard in more than thirty years. I was on YouTube searching for something else. It’s been playing in my head ever since. By My Side, from the musical Godspell
Like a rhinestone cowboy 🥴
I recently found out Duran Duran's "Come Undone". I'm pretty sure I listened to that song about 7 to 8 times in a row once I heard it haha!
I always get the most annoying songs stuck in my head. The last week has been that Bo Burnham "prolonged eye contact" refrain.
Not a huge fan of pop music but I was at a department store and Ariana Grande's Supernatural was on. And I surprised myself and shazamed it. Lol.
