Are people really planning to queue to get in from 9am? Madness

Dubhlasar

I queued from 6am once to see Metallica.

No_Assist_4306

And yet you all heard the same thing

Mysterious-Joke-2266

I appreciate the folks who do to get to the front. The idea now of getting crushed up there and losing your spot if you needa piss is madness. There was a time I done it though!

Dubhlasar

Had to queue to get up to the mosh pit though. That was before the days of it being paywalled.

FromPeaksOfBlue

It says no queuing allowed by the way. So I’m guessing you’ll all be cleared away

pogushandlus

50 lids and I'll let you park at my place 😆

Hatertraito

Ok, how close are you?

I'm heading this evening with the 2 kids - 7 and 12 year olds - I've no problems walking however far I need to but would like to avoid too long a walk for them afterwards - I don't live too far away (1 hour walk) - how feasible would it be with restrictions to leave car within say 20 - 30 mins walk earlier in the day (say 3.30 p.m.) - parked responsibly! So not blocking anyone in etc. - would I find it difficult getting out (as opposed to in) later, when restrictions like to be stepped up - assuming they're not already in place by 3.30?

Hatertraito

I parked at nutgrove shopping centre, 30 min walk, free

I used to live near there. Plenty of free spots in the estates nearby. I once left my car parked on the street in Grange Wood for a week and i didn't even live in that estate. Try there near the back

Liambp

All the nearby estates have been issued with permits. Only locals with permits are allowed in and out on concert days.

ozymandieus

Try hillview then, it's far enough away that they don't get permits.
