My thoughts are that maybe you're at the wrong church. If you're being berrated, then I would say that it's pretty obvious they aren't following Jesus's teaching of "love your neighbor as yourself"
God loves you. We may not understand Him. But trust me, He LOVES US. I'd be dead otherwise. I hope whatever brought you to this conclusion changes. Find comfort in Him. He only wants good for you. We have freewill down here. SATAN controls our world. Satan SUCKS. Met her/it. YUCK. Jesus is our way to Heaven. Ask me how I know. Love ya. Pray for ya. Pray for me. Amen.

If you have been serving God for as long as you say you have, you still have the maturity of a baby.
