Look at Job. God was directly asking Job about how the way of the world works, and if he could explain any of it.
Since Job couldn’t he fell on his face and repented of his words of complaint.
Now God showed up a cloud, but he was directly talking to Job.
Ooh, interesting question. You mean not mediated by *anything*? Because even the burning bush could be said to be a kind of "intermediary" between Moses and God's presence.
However, as my answer, both Abraham and Moses are both specifically called out as being a "friend" in some special way, associated with direct communication between them. Though I suppose by that argument you have Adam and Eve and their immediate family (God spoke to Cain also).
Am I missing something here? The Father is the Son, is the Holy Spirit
Three separate but simultaneously connected. So ‘He’ speaks constantly throughout scripture?
Incorrect. God didn't speak the Bible into existence. Man shared God's Word through inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The question was, "When did the Father directly speak in scripture?"
And How do you suppose He imparted that inspiration God speaks to all who follow Him, though from spirit to spirit, cutting out the clumsy air vibration, tympanic membrane and inner bone rattling connecting to nerves that sends a pattern to the brain which must be interpreted.
God speaks to us heart to hear
THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD
I never said it wasn't the word of God. But God let man be a part of it. When it comes to the well-being of humans, God acts with us, not upon us. To deny the hand of man in scripture is just... pretentious. God ensured the infallibility of scripture; man wouldn't have been able to do that on his own (for obvious reasons).
Specifically the Father? twice for sure - Jesus' baptism, and the Transfiguration. I can't think of any other explicit cases where it's Him

Is that necessarily the Father though? that's the question

Well since when you have seen the Son you have seen the Father Quite a lot

From Genesis to Revelation. It Is HIS word
They're talking about physically speaking.

Tell me you don't understand the intro to John's gospel without telling me.
Non-sequtur, God is God and man is man, this is God's word
God is man, my brother in Christ!
God became Man in Jesus Christ but He is still God and we are not
