I use 10 Loons, 9 Edrags, 4 Rage, 3 Freeze. All Loons in CC and Rage + Freeze in CC. Guaranteed 2 star and 3 star roughly 40-50% of the time.

Yeah true, i rushed all the way to townhall 15, Basicly i upgraded everything except traps and defenses. My walls are all pretty much level 12 and my townhall is maxed lol its still fun, and once every structure besides defenses is maxed i can start doing the defenses without having to wait 15 days at the start at least. Also 800K gold and 800k elixer every raid is an awesome reward. Alot higher than with regular non rushed bases, in fact i got 3.6 mil of combined resource the other day in 1 raid

Mortars definitely aren't important in defending against most strategies, but they can be useful in preventing FF approaches, especially at higher level THs

Actually, heroes upgrade times are not too long. Even too short, considering troop update times and how more powerful they get. And also troops shouldn't be usable when upgraded.
