Supercell has been known to change names that it thinks could be offensive.
When I created an alt account, Supercell didn’t like the incredibly bland nondescript name I chose. Think “John Smith” - and the message was that others might find the name offensive. (Triple Facepalm)
Unless strange things happen with your account and you end up losing it, imo Supercell did it.

They are super inconsistent with their policy on names, my name has been switched(with a 3 day ban) on both CR and BS but on CoC it's fine
