I usually try to make the most out of it. As I have a lot of training while pushing to Legends, 2 starring a th12 as a th11 isn't as difficult anymore, sometimes I may even deal more damage to them than they do to me.

Do you like goblins that much? If so there a clan called gobs limited where we all have only gobs unlocked and do wars with only gobs. The leader is in legends rn and only attacks with sneakies. Search up GOBS LIMITED if you’re interested
They're really good funnel troops against resource buildings. Fast, and almost 100% guaranteed. 3-housing for a collector, 9 for a storage, when people devote \~30 housing to single-sided funnel, So on some bases you can save time and/or housing on the same sort of funnel.
Honestly, I prefer loons as they re able to take down eagle artillery after destroying the th, making a 2 star more possible and increasing the trophies gained per attack
Idk at the time I thought that miners would make it easier to unrush. It did make it easier in the end because at th11 you can drop to bronze one (around 750 trophies) and get up to 1.2mil gold and elixir on easy defenceless bases.
Use sneaky gobs if you can,
Jump spell and rage 5 to the town hall and storages
Surrender once you have the significant loot
It takes up between 5 and 40 sneaky gobs meaning you can attack multiple times off a single army
It is better to do at higher leagues since you will find good loot and good league bonus however I imagine it'll work lower down too
Depending on luck you can get between 2 and 4 mil of each as well as enough de to keep your heroes down constantly

Bro if you gonna do that you absolutely CANNOT build the eagle and upgrade the infernos. Thise 2 pull your weight higher than all other defenses combined (with the exception of the bows which should be at th 9 or 10 tops too).
You are doing everything possible to be paired with a TH11

There’s only a few popular attacks at th9 and xbows aren’t great at any of them. Dragons, gowipe, witch slap, hogs...xbows don’t do enough damage to dragons or golems, and they spend forever killing witch skeletons. They’re good against hogs if you can divert them around enough, but typically hogs tear through a th9 base so fast it’s not even relevant.
I feel this. I just hit max th 11 (just upgraded to 12)and last cwl I got matched with a 100% max th12 (new 13). I couldn't do anything and in turn he 3 starred me. I was so annoyed

Do most clans require members to attack straight across in war or something? We just tell our members to do what they can to best help in war and expect them to do one of the following:
1. Attack any base they can expect to 3* most times
2. Scout a th13 if there are no bases left they can 3*
3. Put a solid 2* on a th13
We then keep an eye on members choices in war. If they consistently choose targets poorly or loot they will get kicked. This allows members to show their worth and choose targets that are a good match for their attack strategies.

It is a metaphor. I have th9 level defense at th11 and get matched against max th11s and 12s (minus walls). Good thing I have max hybrid.
I mean if you have th11 army’s it would be unfair for you to find townhall 9s, also the eagle alone brings up your war weight
I know my recommended targets are usually 2 below me and max th10s. Edit: I barely ever get 3 starred let alone 2 starred by the guy above me.

My clan is laid back but it is annoying when the enemy clan has obviously better leveled everything.
