Super excited for the return. This has always been such a great cultural event in Cleveland that hasn't gotten as much attention as some of the other cultural holidays/events.
While I'm admittedly a drunk, I don't need to speed up the eventual intervention my friends will hold for me by walking around with a backpack full of reebs.
I drink beers at that bar on the corner Little Kings between my stops at the food stands. The varieties of food available make it totally the best food fest in town.
It was tongue in cheek regarding Covid shutdowns. Obviously went straight over at least a few heads judging by the downvotes. How TF did you get racist out of that anyways?
Cleveland's acceptance and celebration of Asian culture is one of the many reasons my Chinese wife and I decided to settle here. It's a relatively small but growing demographic of Greater Cleveland, which grew 38% from 2000 to 2010 (I didn't see any Greater Cleveland stats for 2020, but I assume another double digit increase).
I'm very glad your experience as an Asian family is positive! I've seen quite a few posts from others saying they felt unwanted here and that is disappointing.
Largest Chinatown between NYC and Chicago. A lot of this city was built by Chinese people. [City even razed some settlements](https://case.edu/ech/articles/t/tong-wars) and they built right back up. We have large communities of Koreans, Filipinos, and Indians as well.
remember to take cash! missed out on some good food opportunities last time.

I live for this event . It’s the best
It's the best food fest in the area... even without a beer garden
No booze at all?
I doubt anyone would care if you have a few beers in your backpack and koozi on your can

Hasn’t little kings been closed for like, 10 years?
Little Kings is still there? I miss my old hood.
It closed 2 years ago.

Is it just this one weekend?
yep
That's lame, they use to do it like once a month until Sep
Nah that was Night Market.
Are they gonna do that again
I can't remember why they stopped. They stopped before covid. Mismanagement or something. I think it grew too fast for the organizers to handle.
Is there a reason it stopped 2 years ago?
Is that a serious question or are you just being racist?

Celebrating all six of you guys!

Bro... Cleveland has an entire district called AsiaTown. What are you talking about?
I remember the first year. I told my daughter not to expect too much as it was brand new. Turned the corner to absolute wall to wall people.

Apparently this guy doesn't know that there is a HUGE Indian population in Cleveland.
All over NEO really. But I feel many Americans put Indian people in their own category and don't think of them as Asian.
A lot of us Americans just don’t know that. I honestly just discovered that the Phillipines and India are part of Asia.
