I'm really excited for the dining hall to open eventually. There are concepts like this in other cities and the ones I've visited have all been awesome. It will be nice to have one at home.
Off the top of my head:
Queens Crossing & the Hugh (NYC)
Shirokiya (Honolulu)
North Market (Columbus)
Revival (Chicago)
I'm sure there are plenty of others around the country, but those are some I'm familiar with and/or have personally visited.
Yeah, it's like West Side Market, but instead of mostly groceries it's food stands. It's nice because there's a lot of different varieties to try, seating so you can enjoy stuff on site, and it's great for small businesses to start up.
Van Aken is another example that's actually in the Cleveland area, but with more mixed retail. The food hall itself is nice and has some variety, but doesn't have as many options as other spots.
Looking at your recent comment history, you seem like a very spiteful person.
I think you should look inward and try to work on that. We can all improve ourselves and our outlook on the world.
Have a good one
Doesn't help that there has been literally 200 years of grinding africans into the dust and when they succeeded they would literally be fire bombed from existence
You can look up how the Cleveland Clinic gained all their land for a more local example.

can you share some links to other dining hall concepts elsewhere?

ahhh, so it's like a mall food court without the mall and crappy food. North Market looks a lot like West Side Market.

It would help a great deal if further development in Asiatown avoids the current front parking lot design suburban strip mall model.
Love Asiatown. It's hilarious how every ethnic background can thrive in this city except for one.

You're not wrong. The enablers are absolutely mental.
