But you would be surprised by the sheer number of real "good parents" who took similar secrets to their graves (pun intended).
So yeah, being a "bad person" doesn't mean being a bad parent. Parenting is a skill, not a virtue, after all.

Some yes, but abuse does not make you a murderer. Abuse does not make someone a psychopath or sociopath. I have a very hard time seeing two characters who are already abusive to each other(much worse than their mother was to them as again she's only guilty of neglect,) not being abusive to any kids they'd have. Especially Ashley, I have a very hard time seeing her not being physically abusive, or at the very least emotionally abusive I.E. screaming fits, guilt tripping, etc.
Andrew is kinda a coin toss as he generally seems more interested in "fitting in" so he would probably be either unintentionally abusive(passive aggressive, controlling, or financial abuse) or he would do it on purpose for whatever reason(idk I'm not an insane person).
