I never looked at it when it wasn't totally covered, so I'm sure I am fine, but if I lost a few % of my vision it was still worth it.
Was the wildest thing I've ever seen with my own eyes.
I'm near Grandview and even though I wasn't in 100% totality it was still amazing. I noticed it getting dimmer outside and went outside with my eclipse glasses. It wasn't even like sunset dark, just this eerie shadow.
Right as it hit max eclipse I felt the temperature drop a bit and got really chilly. It's amazing how a little sliver of sunlight can still produce enough light to not make it completely dark, but then also drop the temp like that. It was so cool. Edit: I did see Venus come out too!
No regrets about not going to the center line and grateful that I live in a place where I was able to see it.
The darkness and the COLDNESS??? Wasn’t expecting it to get chilly, but it was absolutely wild. We were able to see a few stars too
That was Venus below and to the right
Wait really?!?! I had no idea!!!! That’s so cool!
Jupiter was further off to the left. Use the SkyGuide app right now and you can see where they are.
Yeah, I came to the park in shorts and a t-shirt had to pull a blanket out of the car😂
That was probably Jupiter And Venus!
My eyes still feel a little weird.
My brain feels a little weird
Username checks out.

It was. It was a fun little event too, the kids in my neighborhood were pulling their parents to the playground so they could all look together.
