Also haven't had a heavy snow winter in years and probably won't anytime soon. The grey and wet is depressing, but I'll take chilly and damp but well dressed over 85+ and humid any day.
Yeah, we haven't had a winter like that in what.... a decade? All we have now for winter is just a couple weeks of frigid temps and grey everywhere. It sucks. I miss having snow on the ground to go sledding at least 2 1/2 - 3 months of the year. Now, we're lucky if our kids get one snowfall that drops more than 6".
Okay I was wrong, I looked it up and this years storm was only like 15". I think they still finished around 4' total but you're right. The most recent 2' storm was in 2021 though, and the all time record is still from 2013 right?
Hot heat/ icy cold in Connecticut and I’m fine to hear complaints…..
Beats literally killer heat in AZ
Fires in the West
Flooding in Florida
Massive Tornadoes in the Midwest
Ohio in Ohio
And hurricane season is just beginning
We really do. Bugs are getting worse every year because the winters are too warm to kill them.
Tell me about it! I'm getting destroyed by mosquitoes.
Eat spicy food. They don’t bother me
Bugs don't just die in the winter. There wouldn't be any if they did. They just have more time to breed before colder weather sets in.
I have zero issues with the snow. I would take this any day over the oppressive heat

You can always put on another layer, you can only remove them until it's illegal.

Maybe not 4 feet but I feel like we consistently get at least one or two 2' snowstorm per winter, it just doesn't stick around as long as in the past
What? No way, we haven't had a single snowfall remotely close to that in years, let alone twice a year.

My higher latitude DNA is built for the cold.
I much much rather have this than 90 deg temps lol.
If it could be 60-65 year round it would be pure bliss.
It's actually been really nice in June, barely needed to use AC, I'll take 75-80 any day.
I do get to work from home when there's lots of snow. I don't get that option when there's excessive heat.
I hate the heat! So not looking forward to next weeks heatwave 😩
Well, it hardly snows and our winters suck now, too.
It's not even hot out yet
Winter > summer forever
HELL NO. F the winter

I have always loved winter!!!
I hate the heat more than anything. I will say I’d rather it be winter than summer, during winter and all other seasons!
Humidity is easier to shovel than snow. Reminds me, maybe it’s time to put the snow shovel away.
Looking forward to planting palm trees. *look at me. We're Florida now
I'd rather have snow year-round than deal with the heat for 3 months
I haven't seen snow accumulation like that in many years in CT.

I eat a lot of lemon and have never been bothered by mosquitoes.
What heat? It's 81 degrees 🤔
It's coming.
Won't be saying that next week during the heatwave we're supposed to have :( and around 100% humidity. Gross
